Absolutely loved these versions and arraignments. Harry's voice and appearance was stellar. DUG the trumpet, bass guitar and Rhodes. The whole band was so killer!
This guy never ceases to amaze me. So glad I listened to Sledgehammer earlier this year.

Well the arrangements in all of them are brilliant. I feel this is the sort of groove theyll have live on tour... Also yeah in Golden he adds a bridge when singing live sometimes. You did not hear it wrong. He's did it before ehehe If you twist my arm my favourite has to be Golden.

Adore You was my fave too. It looks like they ran through the songs at least twice because Harry's hair would switch between being in his eyes and not during the same few bars of a song. So, they must have recorded multiple takes and done some editing (of the visuals, at least)?? I missed Sarah & the rest of the gang, too, but really enjoyed the vibe The Nationals brought.

I think this is arguably the best vocals he's ever performed. He didn't miss once and he just sounded soooo gooood. I really loved the band as well. The vibes were immaculate. I think adore you was my fave. It just hit different, I can't explain it, I loved it so much

That's because they definitely pitch corrected his vocals and it kinda pissed me off. Am I the only one who can hear that? He usually *does* miss a note here and there and I like that because it makes him sound human. They made him sound like a soulless robot, which doesn't help because this performance was already low-energy to begin with. I'll never understand why certain TV programs choose to do this. It happens all the time and I hate it. Live performances shouldn't be tweaked to perfection.

I think it was pre-recorded cause there's a part where he kinda forgot to sing and then laughed but honestly I'm not pissed cause everyone did that

@@sofi444a I thought that too. There were moments where it felt like his voice wasn’t really coming from him. And there are apparently a bunch of continuity issues with the footage if you pay attention. So who knows how the heck they filmed this?! lol. It definitely feels off to me in more ways than one, though.

Yes, this is our GOLDEN boy who became a MAN. He is perfect every possible way. I love the way he looks, I love the way he sings, I love the way he talks, I love the way he moves and I love this performance a lot. I have always liked him but those are all new feelings for me. He is a rock star with massive future waiting for him.

The trumpeter is Maurice Brown, jazz musician, I just checked his latest album The Mood and let me tell you, it’s def a mood. So so good. He is also a Grammy winner trumpeter

I still remember how disappointed Harry was when the horns didn’t get added to the chorus in Olivia (for 1D’s last album) and when Fine Line came out he sure made up for that in a few of the tracks.

It was interesting to hear the well-known songs with diff vibe, and his live singing was again great. Though there's a bit of a heartache seeing him without his real band. I miss every single one of them :( Hope it was just a musical adventure

You hit the nail on the head with the “ nuggets “ comments . Everything about this performance was stellar . A little different vibe for him and you can tell he was toned down with no audience . Harry thrives on stage , however his vocals blew me away and I see it did for you too . I love your reaction , gave you goosies . Lol . So weird to see him with another crew for sure but WOW they funked it up nicely! I loved the vibe and I can't pick a favorite I MISSED SEEING him perform. We ALL love the way he looks! 😍 I am loving the 60s hairstyle as well, it suits him! I know this is an unpopular opinion 😱, but I wasn't a fan of Harry's long hair, it always looked greasy and he never stopped playing with it! Shoulder length was okay when he was growing it out. The short waves, for me, is definitely his best look.

This performance gave me goosies from beginning to end. The band, the trumpet, the back up singers, and all of Harry’s little nuances and changes. Yes, he did change up that one line in Golden. He has done that before. His voice was completely on point. His tone is so rich & sounds like melted honey butter on a hot biscuit. So so good.

Harry and his band are always amazing! All his performances are amazing, live or in the studio. I was kind of expecting that he will sing different song from Fine Line (besides the obvious, like Golden, God bless Golden btw), like Cherry, TPWK, Fine Line, or a Christmas cover. But whatever, he's amazing! I liked the band a lot, but a the same time I missed Sarah a lot 💔

Love your reactions. You didn't hear wrong as mentioned in comments below. Hard to pick one, but I think Adore You would be my favorite. I love the note changes and the different vibe. I also agree that this was probably recorded and they sang to the track. You can tell that it was different takes based on his hair in Watermelon Sugar. Loved the overall look of the set. Whatever filters they used for this is the same as they used in all his MVs - same overall feeling and vibe. Thanks for posting Tommy!

Loved Golden as well but Adore You took it for me here. The added sauce in that arrangement elevated an already perfect pop song into something even groovier. If you've never listened to The Free Nationals, the band playing with Harry here, I highly recommend them. Fantastic band. Their Tiny Desk with Anderson Paak is a must watch if you haven't already.

He had to use a different band and backup singers because all of his peeps are back in England. That’s a big reason why it’s so different. Don’t get me wrong I loved his performance!!

This was actually recorded at the end of October. Most of the band is in southern CA - I think Harry actually quarantined with Mitch and Amy. Not sure why he decided to go a different direction with the band. Different but good!

It was def pre-recorded because he fully misses one of the "oh honey" bits in Adore You (you hear it but don'e see him say it) and he kind of laughs at himself. I don't think of it as lip syncing - it was a live recording but I think they recorded the video over that track multiple times for all the camera angles.
