As x the song I dont think he will get to top 5, this song doesnt suit some specific standards of ESC, its too a cerebral & sophisticated piece, so.... Anyway his voice is astonishing, his vocal skills out of normal, an extension owned only by other 4/5 singers in the world. Un saludo

Marco won Sanremo 10 years ago with L'essenziale, placing 7th at Eurovision that year. Since then he became very popular in Italy and he was the favourite to win since day one. Many people are saying here that he won mostly for being the star he is than for the song itself, which I appreciate, but was not my favourite. I think that any of the top3 songs could have won, I liked them very much and were consistent during all the Festival, but Marco popularity might have weighted in his favour. My favourite, and it is stuck in my head, is Madame's Il bene nel male, which placed 7.

Marco Mengoni is very very famous in Italy. He began his carrier in XFACTOR Italy year agoo. Hi won already Sanremo song contest in 2013 and he was at Eurovision the same years.

Pedro Rivas, mi dispiace deluderti ma la lingua italiana e la lingua spagnola hanno parole e strutture grammaticali completamente diverse. Non sono abbastanza simili, seppure abbiano la stessa origine neo latina. Molte parole apparentemente simili hanno un significato diverso. Se conosci bene la lingua francese, capirai che il francese e l'italiano sono 'abbastanza' simili ma con una pronuncia diversa.
