This song is extra special to him, and to myself. It was written for his mother. As a child, I would go to Juan Gabriel concerts every year here in Houston, Texas. My parents were great fans of his for as long as I can remember. They never missed a concert when he was in town. Now, my mother passed away in 2020 from cancer. This song has taken a new meaning. Not only do I remember my mothers embrace, but constantly feel her presence. Where ever you are, mom... I love and miss you. Your little Dan.

@sabina1118 thank you for this reaction! Juanga was a true legend in every sense of the word! The lyrics to this song are truly heartfelt ❤️. He wrote this song after his Mother's passing but gave it to his long time friend, Rocio Durcal and she made it a hit. It took several years for him to finally be able to sing his own song due to the pain it caused him. Yet you can still see it and feel it in this performance. Truly mesmerizing
