Speedy and Saku are my favourite Kummeli characters.... even bout 25 years later speedy and saku were announcers of big rock festifals in Finland...

This black-haired person, Heikki Silvennoinen, is a musician and producer in real life and has played with many well-known Finns as a profession 1970-20xx. Wikipedia: "He was a guitarist and a songwriter in several notable Finnish bands in the 1970s and 1980s, and has also recorded solo albums. In the 1980s, Silvennoinen became a professional producer and collaborated with many significant bands."

Yes, they are really relatable. Me and my friend were just like Speedy and Saku in the Junior high school (Ylä-aste in finnish....ages 13-16) and this was at the time when the original Kummeli show aired on TV originally in the early 90´s. We had a band and we were always making a lot of noise and got into trouble because of it. Nothing serious...we just didn´t enjoy school as much as we enjoyed Heavy Metal!!!

You should watch and react to the Heavy Trip Movie. That's hilarous!

I think they originally wanted make the rhyme "meillä on bussi, sitä ei meiltä kukaan nussi". Which means basically the same as the one in here, but nussi can also mean fucking. So, the people at the department of age rating would've made the age rating higher. Not sure, but it just feels right.

They made a lot of fun about musicians, because the Kummeli guys are great musicians themselves. But that type of character is one you could find at least around 90's in Finland. Just hugely over stereotyped.

They could have a bit more guitars. Marsu and own risk!

Their "promo" tour reminds me of an awesome Finnish metal band called Diablo. They are not well known because their marketing is basically this: "Hey, we made a new song. Go listen to it or don't we don't care. Anyway, we're going on tour now. See ya there maybe!" This is stereotypically Finnish, we have this belief that as long as we do something good nothing else is required, no marketing really needed. We are not (again, stereotypically) good at marketing ourselves.
