Thanks for your reaction. The authoritative Metal Hammer magazine held a competition for the 'Best Metal Song 2023'. Three songs from LOVEBITES (from the Album 'Judgement Day', 2023) have reached the finals! But, according to the terms of the competition: " ... under the terms of the 2023 competition, each artist would ultimately be allowed only one song that best represents what that band brought to the world of metal in 2023." The song 'Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)' was ranked #15 on the biz list of more than 160 'Best Metal Songs 2023' !!! P.S. In addition to 'Stand And Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)', two more songs from the Album 'Judgement Day' made it to the finals: #51 'The Spirit Lives On'. #58 'Dissonance'. In accordance with the terms of the competition, only 'Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)' was left in the list of 'Best Metal Songs 2023'. LOVEBITES' Album 'Judgement Day' was ranked #15 in the '50 Best Metal Albums of 2023' by Metal Hammer.

Everyone here knows that our music is only complete when we play it live, right?" These were the words of vocalist Asami to the audience on the first day of the revival concert, before playing this song. This song was written with the intention of having the audience join in the singing once the restrictions imposed by COVID were relaxed. Originally, the government had decided that the restrictions would be lifted two months after this concert, but fortunately, this concert was specially lifted. The audience and the band members were delighted by the surprise when the management staff informed them of this just before the concert started.

A fun song by the ladies. If you have a chance watch the official music video. The ladies are dressed casual, they playfully are shown play different instruments, the harmonies are better, and the mix allows you hear the guitar solos better.

Nor can I understand it. LOVEBITES still are a "hidden gem". In my opinion, their global recognition and fame are overdue. I therefore continue to hope for "word of mouth" by their fans. That seems very "1980's-like" to me (given the opportunities of the internet in 2024), but what else are we supposed to do.

They are so incredibly talented musicians. I experienced them live at Roskilde Festival this year, and I am so impressed with how good they are. Excellent performance and musical talent. They definitely should gain way more recognition in the whole world. They truly deserve it. 😊😊😊🎸🎤🎤

Miho left the band mostly for personal reason. She's fine, there a number of interview on YT. Fami has been well known in Japan since her High School years. They held a worldwide audition call and 1000's submitted videos. Fami won out not just on her skills, Asami said that Fami lit up the whole room when she came in for the "finals". This was her first concert with the band and just turned 21. She does write songs, so I'm hoping for a collaboration with Miyako!!
