I would recommend "Cordeiro de Nana" by Os Tincoas. It's a band/coral that sings songs about african brazilian religions. They have a unique sound and I seen in a comment by an african native saying that it remind him of the songs his mother used to sing to him, so it's very deep in it's african root

Some great songs by Jorge Ben Jor: 1) Umbabarauma; 2) Menina Mulher da Pele Preta; 3) País Tropical (this song speaks about Brazil); 4) Bebete Vambora; 5) O Telefone; 6) Mas que Nada (that one was recorded by many people, including the Black Eyed Peas, I bet that you know that song); 7) Fio Maravilha; 8) W e o Brasil; 9) Os Alquimistas estão chegando; 10) Taj Mahal (original studio version, very diferent from the live version that you saw and there's a video with english subtitles. You don't have to do a reaction again, just so you know and listen).

"Oba" is an interjection that expresses satisfaction, joy. Something you say when you receive good news, whether it is expected or unexpected news.
