Gotta love John in his shorts! From their early days in their theatrical costumes to just whatever they happened to be wearing, that kind of tells a story of its own. Queen worked crazy hard at the beginning to create and cultivate their audience. Over the years, we all got comfortable enough with one another that we -- band and audience alike -- could just hang out and get silly. If you want to see another song with all of them at the front of the stage, check out 39. It was written by Brian, and it's basically a folk song about interstellar space travel.

Hi folks! The best thing about these coversis that we finally get John out front a little and let everybody know what we know, what an excellent bass player he is. At the half century mark I can tell you, I get a huge kick out of all the love Queen are getting now, Freddie (and John) particularly, because let me tell you, there was no love for the man in the 70s. I took crap from every angle, including my own Pop. (Until he listened. Then he changed HIS tune.) Where was all this love in the 80s when they were in drag? Oh well, better late than never, I guess. At any rate, the covers are excellent-Freddie's proof than with enough talent, any old barn can be painted up. Love you guys!
@CoachCastTV8 ай бұрын
Haha, well said about the barn. It's a shame they weren't more popular in our circle as we could have been enjoying them all these years, but now that we have heard as much as we have, there is no denying they are among the greatest ever.

You can see how they just enjoy what they are doing and also the humor side of Freddie. The Queen has high respect for previous bands or musicians so they pay tribute. I like this part of their concert because you can see Freddie's genuineness and other member of the band. Thank you Mr. & Mrs. Coach for your great reaction🙂

Thank you! So much fun! I love it when Freddie forgets the words, and the others are so used to that happening during the impromptu medleys, that they simply carry on and fill in for him until he remembers!! Good to see Roger coming down front too. We get to see glimpses of him in videos, especially when he's singing, but he tends to spend most of his time hidden from the crowd by his enormous drum kit. Freddie was so upset that the sky dared to rain on him! I couldn't help laughing.

Hahhhaaa you kindly didn't react on lyrics that Freddie's changed in the middle: I got a girl named Daisy, she f**es me really crazy 😮🫣🤣 and Freddie's and Roger's little grins after that 😂😂 Roger and Freddie had a special bond, they fooled around but also Roger always supported Freddie with vocals when Freddie had problems singing and had to rest his voice or change the key because of that. Fred and Rog run a vintage clothes store at Kensington market before forming of Queen. Freddie joked that Roger has a dog whistle pitch 😂. The best way of hearing that is in a song '39 when they are singing really high notes together. I'll be glad to see your reaction to that song.

"You're So Square, I Don't Care" was first released by Buddy Holly. Elvis performed "You're So Square, I Don't Care" in JailHouse Rock. FYI - Freddie "forgot" the words to "MaryLou" every performance. Glad you enjoyed this! it is one of my favorites.

Guys, there where two concerts at Wembley (Night one, Friday 11th & Saturday 12th July 1986). The first with rain that not helped. If you react again, try to find the second, for me is the Best! Of course, both are great!
@rickysld8 ай бұрын
I'll throw this here just so you know. The Live at Wembley show is not just one concert, but two nights (with pretty much the same setlist). The Friday night is lesser known and it's the one you saw here (you can tell because it was raining), the Saturday night is instead the one most people know (I think all your previous reactions of the live at wembley show were from the 2nd night). The nice thing about them having the same setlist is that you basically have two different versions of the songs you can choose from. Overall despite being much less famous, the 1st night has the better performance, especially from Freddie, whose voice is much less tired (I think it's pretty noticeable). Also I have to make you aware that in the 2nd night in many of the songs Freddie came back after the tour to record some overdubs to "patch up" the times where you could really hear his voice being tired so it's not technically 100% live since there is some studio work behind (this is never the case in the 1st night). Both shows are really great anyways, the 2nd night is still epic and the band plays incredibly well, amazing performance, but it's pretty hard to go wrong with them. All of this aside, I really suggest you reacting to a medley of In the lap of the gods revisited (it's totally different from the one you already did, literally a different song), seven seas of rhye and tear it up from their live in Budapest show (it's about two weeks after these Wembley shows). The quality of the footage is incredible (and the performance is too). I couldn't find a video with just those three songs, but just skip to 8:29 in this video (it's the whole show) ad watch it from there kzbin.info/www/bejne/gWTXpJaZa9xki7csi=OSYrfhYzBGkwTKAD The medley ends around 14:40, just before a kind of magic (another awesome one I strongly suggest you checking out, this time from the 1st wembley show, here's the link kzbin.info/www/bejne/bZeokn-pqZemqNUsi=pGUCntir7OIY8twk the one on Queen's official channel is really bad quality so that's why I gave you the link. This is one of their most famus performances and it's usually one of the first ones people react to). Sorry for the long comment, but I think you'll really enjoy both of the suggestions!

My father was a fan of Elvis. I became the owner of his various albums. I did buy a box set of Elvis Gold albums. When I played them, I became emotional due to my fathers appreciation of Elvis. I love Bon Scott era of AC/DC. The early period of Def Leppard is the best. I did have the first release that was an EP. They did record it in Willerby which is a village outside my City. I read in a book in the 80s that they had friends that lived down the same street my friend lived on. They did visit this street in the late 70s. I mention this as one night I heard the playing of guitar. It could have been Def Leppard or maybe not. I did see Def Leppard on the Donnington Festival in 1986. It was the second time they played after Rick's car accident. They were great. Good music can be of any age. It does not diminish regardless of how old it is.

Hello my friends ! thank you for all his Queen songs! I'm going to give you some information about Freddy Mercury and other members of the group...Freddy was a fan of Elvis Presley yes, but not only that! fan of Liza Minelli and Jimi Hendrix! Def leppard (whom I also like...have often paid tribute to Queen by often inviting Brian May during their concert in the United States, Brian May named them in Awards as the best groups with their albums Pyromania and were rewarded for this magnificent album I must say Roger Taylor, he was a fan of the Who and of Jimi Hendrix too, of which he did a cover himself Foxy Lady with his group "the Cross", for Jhon Deacon, Jimi Hendrix also for their tastes! and various musical influences, I'm not going to reveal them all to you but I'll keep some later I'm going to ask you for a new suggestion from Queen, still in the Rock spirit, and I think you'll like this piece a lot, guitar distortions, some! quite “metal” riffs, John Deacon on bass is excellent and Roger Taylor hits hard! and freddy voice is great

Queen always admired musicians who came before them (The Beatles and Jimmy Hendrix were their "Bible") and were greatfull to learn from them. But Queen also had a big influence on younger bands. Coaches #2 group, Def Leppard, especially Joe Elliot, are close friends with Brian. Brian recalled how he saw them play in 1983 at LA Forum and was amazed. They invited him to play with them their second night and it was then that Joe dragged Brian (who was lost in his playing) to safety just a second before the pyrotechnic blast almost burned him. 😮 Joe said that Queen was an enormous influence on Leppard. ❤ ... Joe once revealed that Brian was the first one who rang him and offered support after Rick Allen's car accident in 1984 and also when Steve Clark died. 💔 When Freddie was dying it was Joe who worried about how Brian was coping. Joe was the first to rang Brian when it was announced that Freddie was dead. 💔 Def Leppard performed at 1992 Freddie's Tribute Concert and it was Brian who inducted Def Leppard into the the Rock n Roll Hall Of Fame in 2019. ❤ ...
