Yes, ang sakit lang kasi when my dad passes away I wasn't really earning that much pa dito sa abroad.. after he passed that's when blessings came talaga na sabi ko sa sarili ko talaga SAYANG at SANA andito pa si papa para maparanas ko sa kaniya lahat ng kaya kong ibigay sa kaniya.... :( haay naiiyak tuloy ako ulet

That Ken part hits a different level, kasi it also may portray ung "ipikit and young mata, pahinga muna" for his lola. Ung lola niya nagsilbing magulang niya and just recently namatay lola niya hindi sya nakauwi because of the pandemic. In a recent interview umiyak siya kasi this is the time daw na pwede niya sya mkabawi pero hindi niya nagawa. It is indeed emotional and very true to them that is why it relates to us as well. This song hits home so much sating mga Pinoy kasi iba talaga ang family culture natin. Ibang-iba ang parent-child relationship ng Pinoy kumpara sa ibang bansa. Sadly, it is slowly being erased by some kasi nagsisimula na ang Westernization ng kultura natin. Nowadays, parami ng parami ang mga anak na ang iniisip is hindi nila responsibilidad ang mga magulang nila. Tipong once they hit a certain age, they can do whatever they wanna do. If you're born on a poor family, the younger generations are complaining na bakit mahirap sila and bakit kelangan sila ang mag-alaga sa mga magulang nila. Whenever I see or hear something like this, It makes me sad to realize that it fading slowly, but I hope this song re-ignites and lets our young-ins to remember that old familial tradition. That no matter what standing you are, you're parents are only one and once they're gone, they're gone. That those harsh discipline being done by some fathers and mothers are just a form of tough love kasi they wanna make sure we're headed to the right direction. I understand naman na hindi dapat gawing retirement plan ng magulang ang anak nila but at the same time, if you know na halos sa'yo lang naubos ang ipon ng magulang mo, you gotta give them something back. And it's not some million-buck worth of item but just to be with them and support them when they need you. This song has urged me to go back home next off ko para makamusta muna sila personally. Hopefully when it's my turn to become a father, I get to teach my kids what my dad has taught, and some too. EDIT: Napatawag tuloy ako kina ermats at erpats dahil sa kantang to. Caught my dad brushing and my mom on the throne when I called but it's special pa rin. Glad to hear them well.
