I took a FULL YEAR deep diving obsessively everything pentatonix. Literally every single day of 2021 I searched vids All over the net. At this point Mitch or someone has taken down a lot of his past videos, but Scott's stuff is still online. I actually watched the entire Sweeney Todd that Mitch was in but it disappeared from the internet, along with a few others. Anyway I really love this video , I've watched it several times and I can say I've seen 98% of all PTX related videos 😆. Intense pentaholic here 😊. Thanks for all your awesome content SALVO 🙏🏾❤️

Mitch only had 2 videos on his channel which he’s said he archived. He did that when he turned his Mitch Grassi channel to messer. I too watched the entire Sweeney Todd production from his high school but it wasn’t Mitch who posted that or took it down though. It was another student who’d been in it. Sad too. It was very good for a high school aged musical by all the students. Martin high had a really great music program over all.

I can relate to this. I’ve search for all their old interviews. I’m currently trying to watch all of the “KZbinrs react” that Superfruit was on. I’m always delighted when I find something I’ve never seen before.

@@annmc3878 oh I've been there lol 😁. For me it's making up for lost time. I literally voted for them during season 3 of sing off. I had watched the sing off since season 1 and PTX blew me away but life happened and I just never followed them beyond the show, one of my biggest regrets 😒. They are my everything now 😁

@@saralynne1513 rediscovering them January 2021 was the best cure for a break up and the most pleasant distraction I could have ever asked for. Now I have a Messer tattoo and designing a PTX tattoo before I go to the Hollywood bowl show. #obsessed 😂🤷🏿‍♀️

I like the early videos of the boys, as it really shows the versatility of Scott's voice, in particular, and really helps show that what they did on The Sing-Off was just the 'next step' of their development

The second girl that was on the channel was Colleen Ballinger as Miranda Sings (I just went and saw her in April). You should watch that video separately and then also watch the bloopers (she also did a video with Pentatonix) I’ve never seen any of them laugh so hard, especially Mitch, he was literally crying.

A lot of these clips are from episodes of Superfruit. They did an episode where they reacted to themselves in their early performances. Thee are so many Superfruit vlogs that are featured in this, you should check out more of the vlogs and challenges not just the music videos. They are pretty hilarious.

You should watch that episode of the mashups they do with Tori Kelly, I didn’t really know much about her until I saw it and became a fan of hers instantly. She’s amazing and funny! Scott jokes that if he wasn’t gay he would marry her.

This was so fun, but sad because they're not making vids anymore, I guess they outgrew it and moved on when they moved into their own homes. I don't think the deep purple emo swoop lasted long, I think it faded fairly quickly to the lavender shade we saw in the Popspring 2016 concert, I only remember one PTX music video with it. I wouldn't let age stop you having a side shave if that's what you want, but it's high maintenance from what I've seen of my niece's. Though I guess it depends how fast your hair grows. I would do it myself but I just don't have the kind of energy to put into making sure the shave is so clean every few days lol. As for where they found the vids...Scott has a lot of stuff online, he has two channels Scott Hoying (with a space) is the older stuff, including the Bad Romance in the bookstore. ScottHoying (no space) is the stuff from about college onwards iirc. There's also some stuff on his dad's channel Rick Hoying such as the tiny Scott vid. You can find some of his very early songs on Spotify (as well as the one mentioned, he has an album/EP from when he's about 15 too), he talked about his early song writing efforts in the podcast he did with Rozzi Crane called _Ugh! You're So Good_ , it's pretty funny. And it wouldn't surprise me if Kirstie has some stuff on her channel too. The video with Tori Kelly, the got people to leave their phone numbers and then they called them and got them to tell them a song (iirc) and then they did a medley of the songs. Tori has such an amazing voice, I think she did another song either with both of them or with Scott, and also a PTX song, which I think was Frosty The Snowman x Don't Worry Be Happy. I had forgotten how good their Taylor Swift episode was tbh.
