The concept changed but Ven para is still absolutely has Weeekly feel to it, i mean listen to that bridge, they can bring back the bubbly and bright Weeekly anytime they want. This comeback is their milestone to get over "cute group concept" wall. I knew it's shocking that they changed so sudden, but they are just trying to explore something new and i believe they will bring back the bubbly and bright Weeekly once in a while, maybe as B-side.

What a comeback!! They absolutely killed it and I'm so proud of them! I've had so many thoughts in my head over the past few hours since this came out, it's quite a lot to take in. When we first got the teaser for Ven Para I was excited but also nervous because this is my Main Ult group with my Main Ult idol with Soeun, and it was such a change from what we know of Weeekly and that was kind of scary to me in a way. They are my most listened to group last year and honestly Weeekly's upbeat and positive music helped me get through some really tough times, so it's a concept and sound that is very special to me. So yeah, moving on from that sound was scary, even if I knew I'd like this. However, now that we are here and I hear the songs, see the MV, and watch their performances, I'm so happy that they did this change. These girls are so unbelievably talented and this comeback really feels like them spreading their wings and showing more of themselves than we've ever seen before. I could not be more proud of them! I love all three songs so much and I'm just so impressed by each of the members. Special shout out to Soeun who continues to own my heart, while constantly destroying me! Soeun best girl!!

Monday hitting an A5 note in solar is the highlight of this album for me...this girl is insane...she rapped , she hit those notes with ease and centered the dance break.....all these 7 girls are hella talented

I love it so much too, thanks for your reaction. Weeekly never had a bad songs, their vocals, dance, rap, performance amazing. I'm so proud of my girls for bravely changed the concept and the song,try something new and make it really amazing good, and zoa rap with that voice is hit different and Monday voice. I feel like they debut again with Awake.

What did I say I heard the solar teaser and said it was a banger and it is. it is in fact is my favorite out of the songs here. Im so hyped and im glad that you felt the same as I did before heard the songs. jihyoon slayed me as always and Monday is still my bias but I love them all. They all shined more now than before in my opinion.

This comeback is giving me Loona vibes, which I just know had to make Jihan happy 😂 Jiyoon even reminded me of Haseul during this music video, just the way her makeup was done and her hair style. I love this comeback, this song, it’s so nice and I think it’s a very good move for the group to show this side of them, regardless of if this is a “permanent” concept switch or simply just them dipping their toes in for a moment and going back to their usual stuff next time. Every group is going to do something like this, a “switch”, at least once in their career and instead of people being scared or angry or concerned or annoyed, we should just embrace the choice and enjoy what we’re given, because 9 times out of 10, it’s going to SERVE.

It'll be interesting to see their next move, if they go back to their "classic" ish style or maybe try to seek a more subtle inbetween with the classic sound and this very girl crush-esque approach. I gotta imagine there's a middle ground there that has shades of both, ala what GFriend did with Time For the Moonlight in juxtaposition to extremes like their early era and something like Fingertip. I guess its just a matter of whether they get a song that seems to fit that approach.
