Obito was going to ring back some of the ppl but he can't revive all (not nearly as much as nagato) since the rinnegan was stolen from nagato and he does not have nearly as much chakra.......nagato could bring ppl back and live but he only died due to using up his remaining chakra reserves.....if nagato had not used all that chakra prior then he would have lived.

this goes for many characters in the anime. Atleast Madara earned everything by himself. He experimented with Hashirama's cells. He worked to achieve everything, he devised a lot of jutsu and he was the one to awaken the Rinnegan. Naruto and Sasuke on the other hand were given most of the things. Rasengan and Chidori are "stolen". Sasuke's mangekyou comes from Itachi and Naruto's power comes from Kurama. Madara on the other hand became strong by himself not by borrowed powers. That's why Sasuke and Naruto suck. They were even handed the Sage of the Six Paths power by Hagoromo. The only point where Naruto and Sasuke are at their own strength is "Sage mode Naruto" at pain arc and Sasuke before the battle with Itachi. Afterwards it's just borrowed power and stupid power-ups because Kishimoto fucked up.

Yea the susanoo thing without eyes was bs. But nothing reaches the bs of Naruto and Sasuke. They made half of Kurama to be as stronger than the rest of the tailed beasts combined and they gave him infinite chakra. Also Sasuke's chakra was overwhelming after getting his EMS ( doesn't make any sense ). They were given Sage powers out of nowhere. Atleast Madara's power came from him and not from others (Kurama and EMS were given to both Naruto and Sasuke respectively). Hashirama and two Hokage stated he had no chance against Juubito, and that was a premature Juubito who hadn’t even shown his TSB. So really, there’s logically no way he would have a chance at winning. If it’s a 1v1, then he’s screwed. If it’s him and the shinobi alliance, then he holds his ground, but ends up losing. The only reason Juubito lost in the first place was his willpower weakening.

Spaz Boys Comedy A lot of people are saying that Distance and Time are the main factors for bringing people back with the Rinne Rebirth Jutsu and that's not true. If time was a big factor for those being dead Madara could not have been brought back and as you can see that wasn't the case. Distance may have something to do with it at least for how much chakra it may take but that was never confirmed in the Manga or by Masashi Kishimoto himself, as far as I am aware. Lastly the user of Rinne Rebirth has "complete control over life and death" meaning they can bring BACK whoever they want and leave OUT whoever they want. Of course I believe it may be easier if they have a physical body remaining though that too like the distance and time arguments is just conjecture. Hope this helps if you're still looking for an answer.

curtis, the rinne rebirth allows you to revive any amount of dead creatures that you want to revive, you can select who to revive too... so if obito would have been able to pull off the jutsu he would be able to revive everyone he wanted in the battlefield... thats why when nagato used it, he only revived the dead from the hidden leaf(speciffically those he killed in the invasion) and not hanzo the salamander for example...

What people don't get is that Sasuke and Naruto are not even close to the level of Madara and Hashirama. If he landed a blow it would be stupid. On the other hand if it was itachi,nagato or obito there i think we would see better results. They all have much more experience in fights and the way they are designed they are supposed to be the strongest in the Narutoverse. Hell even Jiraiya would put a better fight because those people have jutsus and sharp minds. Naruto and Sasuke just use Rasengan, Chidori, Kurama mode and Susanoo. I think that's why Itachi wasn't used in the war against Madara. It would be impossible for the one to defeat the other simply because of their design. They never lost to anyone ( except madara vs hashirama fight ) and they really can't lose. They are invincible.

Rinne Rebirth wouldn't have effected Madara no, it only works on people who have recently deceased. Remember, when Nagato used it, it didn't bring back the Pervy Sage. HOWEVER....it would have brought have Neji :(

Well, take into account that Jiraiya was quite a distance from Nagato somewhere on the bottom of the ocean... He revived only those in Konoha.

Plus Jiriaya was extremely far away so it wouldn’t have mattered. You have to be close in the area for the Rebirth to work.

Time is not a factor in any way, shape, or form. There was no point in resurrecting him, because Jiraiya would die immediately, since he is at the bottom of the ocean

To be fair. When Nagato used rinne rebirth, he had some distance from the Village itself and the "gate" itself opened in the Village reanimating them all. Jiraya could have been resurrected too but he was at the bottom of the ocean, he would have been dead faster than madara calls put hashirama, only if jiraya got reanimated ofc

Yes, distance was the primary factor I neglected, however time does seem to play a part as well. Rinne Rebirth has only revived EVERYONE if they have recently deceased (that's all that was ever shown in the anime and manga) or ONE person from long ago (AKA Madara).

6:21 honestly, in my opinion, bringing Madara fully back to life might be a good idea... as a Reanimation, he’s not gonna run out of chakra and he can’t be killed. Once he’s alive, however, he will once again have these limitations.

You probably know this since you're couple episodes ahead but reason madara eyes are close because he has none. He give his eyes to Nagato when he was really old right before he died.
