Leodanys Perez I am well aware of that, especially given that Naruto really has a huge cast of characters. But at the same time, one should be better at balancing things out when you do decide to introduce so many characters. Many of the secondary characters introduced in the first part of the series were woefully neglected in Shippuden. It's just something that Kishimoto didn't manage to do; which doesn't diminish my respect for the man, because I most definitely would have never been able to create something like Naruto, but is simply a valid criticism.

I understand what you mean but have to consider it this way: Konan wasn't meant for big things anyway and was always just Nagato's sidekick. So the fact that she got to shine in these two episodes and go out in a good way was a good and fitting closure for her. Did she have potential ? Yes, everyone can. But was she wasted ? I think Konan and Kisame went out very cool. My only pet peeve with it is the fact that their deaths was just Kishi realizing the Akatsuki part of the story was over and tying up all lose ends like RIGHT BEFORE starting the next arc. Its good writing but lazy author foresight from him.

Honestly I believe in the capacity of a scene to be good in a vacuum when subtracted from the whole. I feel this is one of those cases. Where the scene itself was good but it's purpose and the way it was conceived bring it down a lot. Everything that makes this poor work has nothing to do with the scenes themselves, just what they do for the story up to that point and going forward. Hence my claim of it being "good writing", not good storytelling or story structure, just the act of actually writing down the scene itself.

The bullshit over-poweredness of the sharingan just frustrated me at this point. It was a get out of jail free card with super magical powers that constantly evolved into more ridiculous things. It was a sign of what's to come. I think it's somewhere around this point and the kage summit where the series got too ridiculous in scope for me and I tapped out. Things became less about constant strategy against strategy and more about making one single opening of power after great strategies inevitably don't work. There were shades of this with the constant use of substitution jutsu earlier but now it's gonna get to be insane.

Konan almost had it won, but Danzo’s fight with Sasuke enlightened him to Izanagi, rip Konan :( Powers of the Uchiha and Senju combined, remember that, Madara has Senju DNA - but how? I really wished Konan stayed alive, even if she was taken out of the game for a while, she had such unique abilities and could’ve at least helped the village. But again, rip the three Ame orphans, Jiraiya’s first students; the one who died to lead, the one who died to change and the one who died to protect. Bit of a plot hole that Jiraiya uses the Rasengan, since he trains Minato - who invented the jutsu - after training the orphans Madara gets the eyes he wants (If only Konan destroyed it) by taking Nagato’s body and he’s got a new Rinnegan mask to boot.

IIRC, Tobi/Madara already knew of Izanagi when he saw the Danzo-Sasuke fight. He made some commentaries during that fight that it was clear he knew about it already. It makes sense, since "He" had so much knowledge that he has been collecting through all his life. Also, your Rasengan point was interesting. I did some research and I only got 1 possible answer since there''s none about Minato's age when he created it. Remember, Konan and the others are all adults here so I am sure Minato was like in his 20s (he dies at 24-25). It's not much of a stretch but there's a chance Minato invented it at the age of 15-20 or something like that. It took him 3 years to create it (beginning at 12-17). Then Jiraiya learned it. Considering how skilled Minato is, that is a great explanation. Just look at all his crazy jutsus and he was at his 20s.

Well it kinda looked like he put the Rasengan near Yahiko, then let it lose it's contained form, so it just blew him backwards instead of ripping through him like a real Rasengan. Like, what Naruto was doing after mastering steps 1 and 2, but before step 3. So he probably wasn't actually hurting him much for training purposes.

So yeah Madara is a badass. Right now you are in episode 253 of this video. You will see Madara's true power in 322. And half of the up coming episodes are fillers, meaning in May or early June you will see the incredible might that every shinobi has feared of the name Madara, and how every man got wet when first witnessing it.
