To fill in some blanks: - The reason the ostrich and Naruto acted like they knew each other is because they've met before in a filler episode. - Kabuto mastered the Reanimation Jutsu and can now revive the dead at their full power. Orochimaru couldn't do this with the 1st and 2nd Hokage's because he wouldn't have been able to control them if he did so. - Deidara comes from the Hidden Stone Village so that's why he has beef with the Tsuchikage.

Well we saw Deidara get recruited to the Akatsuki and we know a bit about his time in the village such as that he was a member of Iwa's Explosion Corps.

Yea but most of that was done through telling not showing. What about his training with Onoki? Or his relationship with Kurotsuchi, how he leaned his style of jutsu and his obsession with art. His time with the Explosion Corps or why he even became a rouge ninja. Very little time and history is spent with him along with Kakazu and Hidan compared to the rest of the Akatsuki.

It’s odd that Naruto forgot the physical till after Lee tore apart his muscles on the Fifth Gate Island Turtles FTW they’ve been a favourite of mine since learning about the world turtle Things are getting way too unusual back at Naruto, so Kabuto is planning on bringing the plot to him. That’s how Madara can use Izanagi, a hollowed clone of Hashirama’s DNA, oh and the 100k Zetsu army Deidara’s looked worse, back when he was in multiple pieces, but he’s been rezzed to aid Kabuto, with his mind intact too. This war is a bit more about protecting Naruto, Yamato...there’s the matter of Madara trying to take over the world and all Onoki flies in to face Deidara, and they know each other well...
