However, Saxton Hale hired them back to fight the robots Graymann had created. A year after that, Graymann took over Mann Co with the help of his daughter, Olivia and all the mercs were fired and administrator and Ms. Pauling went into hiding.

Pigeon bombs were actually a real concept in world war 2 though were never used, it did no use that method. It was a bomb dropped from an aircraft that had a rudder and stabilizer on it and a pigeon inside. The pigeon would aim for a certain eye hole, peck, be rewarded, and repeat. This would control the bomb, allowing it to hit the ship.

close enough i guess. but you mix the two special project "Made in USA" one is the "X-Ray project" where bat, equiped with incendiary bomb, were to be dropped in a bomb by dawn near a japanese city. after a few failed test, and an unwanted sucess (failed to destroy the mock city but destroyed one building of their own base), the project efficiency was doubted and the project was finaly ended when the atom bomb was ready. the other one is "project ORCON" where a pigeon would be in a rocket pecking at the reflection of the target on a screen to steer the rocket to the target. and if i am not mistaken the target was intended to be a plane. project was ended when electronic system became small enough to do it.

Heavy's character really made him the one of the only true mercenary to be reckoned with serious,less chatty,strong,big and with a Minigun! Also his smart,despite his strength and how he talks in the game while the 60% of the Team are half Idiots,especially Soldier,Scout acts like a cocky teen,pyro's a weirdo,Demo's Drunk,Medic has a Mysterious past (cuz in the comic he fell in hell but scammed the Devil! and came back alive xD ),Engie,Sniper,Spy are one of the sane mercenaries in the team

Pyro's container car is right behind Heavy's car...Heavy's car has the Payload but all of those rubber duckies come from Pyro's car. Both are suitably in-character, I'd say. Evidently, Heavy knows the fighting Art known as Jujutsu. He shows his prowess on the Spy. Jujutsu is known as "Involuntary Yoga" & "The gentle Art of folding clothes while someone is still wearing them." Spy just happened to find that out the hard way. There's nothing like a movie that leaves the audience with a cliff hanger...For Sniper, that's literal.

pigeon bombers WERE almost a real thing during world war two,known as Project Pigeon or later as Project Orcon, for "organic control" they tried to train pigeons to guide missiles like Kamikaze bombers but before they could train enough the missile targeting systems became advanced enough to render them obsolete.

In WWII America invented the bat bomb. We packed a large number of bats into a large bomb, chilled it to a cold temperature to keep them sedated. Then when the bomb was released the warm air would wake them up, and they would by their nature fly and seek shelter. And each bat had a small incendiary bomb attached to its leg. So if you drop it over a city, the bats would be scattered all around the city in many attics and other structures and light them all on fire.
