I've been following the videos for a while and I've got to say, this is one of your best reviews of the band as a whole so far. I also cracked up at the very beggining when you guys paused the soft intro and all of you at the same time were like all right, they do this to you, but we know better now 😂 I'm loving these reviews man! Can't get enough of them! Edit: also fuck the comments on your rap reviews saying the guy on the right is too harsh. I think he's invaluable to have in your metal reviews and honestly you guys are just catching flak from people who's main genre is rap hearing someone who's main genre (I'm assuming) is metal and giving a dissenting opinion. It's not interesting hearing a review channel just cream over the popular songs in the genre and then hate the ones everyone hates and you guys never do that, if you think a popular song isn't that great, you say so. Never change!

You're right, it's an underrated asset to have differing opinions and perspectives, Nathan. These guys release content fairly often, and viewers should trust their artistic integrity. It takes Diff'rent Strokes to move the World.

MTH is the best. The song itself is about Ryo (the guitarist) being bullied at school. It starts out how he kind of scares the bullies, but then he says hes moved on and he forgives them.

hey dudes and dudettes for more japanese rock/metal listen to the below bands - all off them will blow your mind dir en grey - has been going since 1997 . they music has evolved from creepy /punk/rock/nu metal to extreme/progressive . would suggest listening to their albums in chronological order - each extremely different form the previous one. just google their discography despairs ray - industrial metal . listen to their album collset - amazing, dark, ambient, numetalish/metalcorish with some amazing vocals. unfortunately disbanded, but I still pray for a re union.. girugamesh - also a very popular japanese metal band, more on the "mainstream "side of things but amazing nonetheless lynch - a bit like despairs ray - dark, ambient with quite numetalish sounds the gazette - the "lightest" of all above, however they sound incredibly distinct, unique and the way they use their instruments is something i've not heard in any "western" bands to this day enjoy and let me know if you need any more recommendations - i fucking love J-ROCK! (an yep, that's the term we used in the golden years of 2005-2011 before they all turned to kpop.... )
They have 2 newer songs you guys should check out They’ve had a few changes in the songs Lead singer head bangs too hard and had to have a neck operation so on the song VAP he’s on drums and the drummer takes lead vocals On their newest song Menkata the song is about the guitarist who got flack from fans for losing lots of weight which he had to do because he was very ill at one stage Also the drummer has had a kid in between this song and the newest song 😂

"Just fucking sweet, you don't know what's going on but its AMAZING" E-fucking-xactly. While MTH may be a stretch to the japanese cretivity, man... japenese musicians are so fucking miles ahead of us in the West. They don't stay in the safe zones, the experiment not with every album, but with every song they make, and that's so rich for people into music...

This is the story of school bullying in Japan, especially the persecution of Ryo (guitarist). To this day he hates his pursuers and sings - "Look at me, motherfuckers, my fangs are still sharp". Suicides in schools are the highest percentage of suicides in Japan, the country that leads in the world in the suicide statistics.
