REACTION: ZAZ - Je veux english

IMHO Zaz is the best French musician of today. With her it's not having the perfect voice or look, but she has one of the greatest personalities I've ever seen, always having a ton of fun performing. Her music ranges from her own pop and jazz-influenced songs to classic French chansons by Edith Piaf. She also has some great collaborations with older French musicians like Gerard Lenorman or Pierre Perret, bringing new life to the songs they are famous for. There's even a duet with Daneliya Tuleshova (the little girl from The Voice Kids Ukraine). I'd be happy to see more of Zaz on this channel.

Yup. Famous all around the world, even in Japan. Just not in the Anglosphere, despite Eblout par la nuit being part of the soundtrack for Dead Man Down. Shrug.

She is a professional performer, but she loves to pull all kinds of stunts performing in different places. The best example would be her performance of "Je veux" on top of the Mont Blanc mountain (15,777 ft), and yes, they even dragged that double bass up there.

Of course, not a professional level, but playing and singing in the street can be quite hard. I liked it. And as a French speaker, I most say the lyrics, without being really deep, were quite funny, more than it appears in the English translation. Nice reaction! Edit, 2 minutes after my original comment: I went to look for her and it turns out she is a professional singer with millions of views on KZbin! So nice to see such a singer just singing in the streets for people passing by.

@@positroll7870 Merci mec! Depuis mon commentaire, j'ai eu le temps d'apprendre qui est Zaz est d'écouter pas mal de ses chansons. Même ma fille de 4 ans sait déjà chanter "je veux d'l'amour, d'la joi, de la bonne humeur"... 😀
