The first time I heard this song was in the 90s when I came across a compilation of rock songs and then later on in my secondary school where my fellow students perform this song during Teacher's Day. I have listened to this song upteen times - both covers and their acoustic versions. This song has such sad tone of regrets about the loss of love and the things done in the past...sometime I feel as if though it mirrors my own life.

though its Deep Purple we can hear, its David Coverdale who's doing the video. not sure if its post-Whitesnake or during his time in Whitesnake.His appearence suggests post-Whitesnake. But i'm not sure. But the song played was recorded and released on the Stormbringer album nov. 1974 by Deep Purple

Guys, this is the Deep Purple version with Whitesnake video. This is NOT the Whitesnake version of the song. This is the greatest version.. Blackmore's haunting guitar and Coverdale's soulful sadness filled voice. Perfect.
