I'm a Navy vet, been retired since 02 and appreciate your generosity towards our American Vets ! Our current "leader's" couldn't care less ! That truck is gorgeous and so different from anything I've ever seen before ! Must have been some hard and extremely fun times building that beauty. I had to sub to see what happens next ! Gonna be very hard to surpass that build, for sure ! I just picked up a 1990 GMC Suburban that's in pretty great shape with a 1994 350 that runs great. Paint is the usual Chevy problem of not prepping the primer, so the paint peals after a few years ! But it gives me a project in my retired years and it will be great in the Washington Olympic Mountains when the snow shows back up ! Enough said and thanks. Keep up the love and had work, Regards and respect, Larry McCormick

I am so humbled see Dad&Son working together. Just before he passed away in '99, he bought a '57 Chevy for us to work on, and began scouring for parts. He'd gathered a lot of stuff and I was so excited. Next thing we knew, he passed away that August. My younger brother administered the estate and SOLD the (not a car guy!) Chevy! I have two sons, but they're married w/children and live in other states.....making this video that much more rewarding.

Watching you guys build this truck and seeing all the reactions you’re getting makes me really want to start on my truck and get it done. With my rough estimates on money available and the costs involved it’s going to take me about 5 or 6 years to get it done and that’s with everything working out perfectly but with life it never does. Anyway love the truck and can’t wait to see the dyno runs and the following smoke show. Awesome job guys

Well, I guess we spent our pandemic time doing different things. I studied coding after 35 years of doing anything but, and now I have a HUGE headache and a new eye prescription. While you are having LOTS OF FUN!!! I wish I could take back my last year and have more of that... REALLY nice truck, just not driveable in my city's winter pothole situation. A yearly 77°F shift in temperature isn't good for roads. I had a buddy of mine that had a Mini Austin (the OLD models). He actually got stuck in a pothole in downtown Quebec City. The car just STOPPED!. We got him out by lifting that baby, with two guys that were walking by. Reminded me of getting my small John Deer Spitfire snowmobile out of holes when I was just 12 years old. Just lifting and bouncing that little thing. Not much more heavier than my little Honda 50cc minitrail. I miss living in the boonies.

I've seen quiet a few builds lately and this definitely is in my top 5. Actually it may have made the #1 spot. I don't know who came up with the design but give em a raise. It's kind of like a hybrid between the old 6 wheeled Formula 1 cars except the extra 2 wheels moved to the rear with the sleek design of a Nascar Stock car\truck. Very well done guys. I know you wanna race kid but have you ever thought God has different plans in mind. I mean I do believe in making your own destiny but if you were the designer then you should at least go and take some CAD courses and a few programming courses. Maybe begin looking at the engineering side of racing if you don't get what you want inside the car. Stay safe and God Bless Guys

I have a lowered 78 camper special with 600 hp/tq of 454. Nothing like this. But I can tear a set of dually clean off in a few seconds if I want. Rat rod stripped dash and doors. Was a tow truck I got for nothing, mass respect to this truck. Sounds so good I get looks from blocks away. Problem is, can't do anything it's too noticeable. They hear sound they drive by to see if I'm home. Also run a g body monte, elcamino, a 68 rs, and love my cjs. This time of year I finally mess with hotrods, summer I have to many bikes to play with. Finally they gave me a 2 mile stretch of road to the county maintenance shop 10 miles outside of town to tear up without being messed with. Glad to see gear heads still around.

been in to jdm cars my whole life, and was randomly clicking through the video and came across the part where you said you wanted mainly american muscle with jdm influence. American muscle is what got me in to cars but I quickly got in to drifting and never was able to dive in to USDM, until last year when I sold all the Japanese stuff and picked up a 64 Plymouth Valiant with a 5.9 in it. Want to do EXACTLY the same vibe and idk, just found it like a little sign that I somehow click on that exact moment. This this is absolutely INSANE and looks PERFECT. Can't wait to sit down and give this the proper watch it deserves. Thank you for the re-inspiration to keep going

GM 700R4 with manual/auto valve body also. The combo of the whole thing made people follow me around in parking lots, ask questions on the freeway at 65mph, police pullovers. So many things, people couldn't speak when they saw it. So I understand the attention.

Tandem rear end design is amazing. Speaking as someone who drives a real tandem axle truck for a living you’re gonna have to get some weight on that thing or it’s going to be slower than molasses off the line only spinning the tires they probably won’t even build up any smoke or heat
