Yes, I've read that he blacked it out because of allegations of predatory behavior by the artist who did SpongeBob work. Mitch didn't feel right about having it displayed anymore.

@@slhoog8164that’s what many people assumed but when asked about it in a Patreon livestream, he said SpongeBob just didn’t fit his Aesthetic anymore. Maybe the tattoo artist was part of it but considering he still has others from the artist on his body I don’t believe that was the full reason. A SpongeBob sleeve definitely wouldn’t go with his messer look.

Mitch is nutz. Holding it ...maybe....but let it crawl around on your face?? Big h*ll NO. I miss Superfruit so much. Anytime I see a thumbnail come up on my feed I get so excited. Mitch had all the SpongeBob characters on his arm because he absolutely loved the show. He has since got it blacked out saying it didn’t fit his look anymore which makes sense with his messer persona. Although others assume it’s because the artist that did it had child predator allegations against him. Mitch never said that but he did start blacking it out after that happened. He still has others on his body from the same artist. Although much smaller.

I liked the Sponge Bob characters tattoo, it was colorful and quirky. The black out tattoo over that arm suits him better, now, though, I feel. When I first caught sight of the blackout, I was so confused, so I was the reverse of you, I guess! LOL!

My daughter's dad and stepmom have a reptile business where they sell mostly snakes. But chameleons and bearded lizards as well. They don't do spiders because she is deathly afraid of them. Because of that my daughter and grandkids learned how to handle and take care of them. And through my daughter I did too as she had a bearded dragon that sadly passed away but now has a chameleon. I'm not afraid of spiders or much of any "creepy crawlies". Even though I was bitten by a small spider when I was 15 in the butt. It was in my shorts when I put them on fresh from the clothesline outside. Now I'm 64 and still have a small knot from it. It only bit me cause it was scared.

lol yes the sponge Bob tattoo was real, he had a half sleeve of most of the characters. He blacked it out because the artist who did it had allegations against him and Mitch didn’t want his artwork on his body. It makes me sad. Mitch loves sponge bob so much.

He’s never (that I know of if so please tell me where) said that is why he blacked it out and that doesn’t really even make sense since he still has other tattoos by that artist
