From a cultural standpoint, Coco means the world to me. The sheer respect for Mexican culture in this movie is just incredible. The music, the food & the preparations for The Day Of The Dead. The culture itself is part of who I am and it's very important, as is the message of the importance of family.

It is such a wonderful film no matter how many times you watch it you always get emotional at the end especially when he's singing the Mama Coco you can't help yourself but cry it's such a beautiful transition and they did a wonderful job.

Day of the Dead is a pre-hispanic dated celebration, indigenous people of what is now México passed down to us the tradition of making shrine altars to remember the Dead, ancestors and family gone but not forgotten. This is made about november 1st and 2nd, and the flower Cempasúchil blooms about this season. People make altars for their relatives at home, and cemeteries are open for the people to leave their offerings and decorate tombstones (they also sell food). Offerings usually are made of the food and drinks the dead used to like back when they were still among the living, and also usually are remembered with their photos. Decorations usually are with skull-themed paper, skull sugar candy, and Cempasúchil flowers. It is a very important holiday to honour and remember the ones who parted to the afterlife, and make them feel welcomed back with the things they loved the most in this side.

‘Coco’ became one of my top 8 favorite Pixar movies of all time. The song “Remember Me” was so beautiful and it basically touched my heart while listening to it.

I was never a fan of Coco to be honest, nothing against Hispanic culture, it just really isn't my cup of tea... but I do find the story to be touching. A father wanting nothing more than to be with his child, unable to do so because someone else's greed took over. And I did absolutely cry when Miguel sang to Coco and theblife came back into her for even just a brief moment.

Remember they are reading/hearing dialogue in their native language. Not every movie has this option. If they copy viewings other channels have done without being blocked they feel less stressed. I’d love to see them react to “Some Like It Hot” but that’s only available with English subs. That’s too bad but just skip the ones you aren’t interested. Shrug.
