I think what was missed here was Ellie’ note at the end of her adventure journal. She reminded Carl that the adventure for her wasn’t the dream of Paradise Falls, but their married life together. All of her adventure pictures were of them.

the life she lead with him was more of a fulfilling adventure than any of her personal dreams could of been .. she filled it with something better while all this time he thought he'd failed her and she was unfulfilled. and when he realised she was fulfilled that made him feel fulfilled

Baby is kind of right. They used the sound of a peacock for the Snipe. We have peacocks in Central Florida and sometimes you hear them and they have the exact same call

Kevin is just supposed to be an undiscovered species. She’s based on an Elephant Bird but has the colors of a male Himalayan Monal and a sound similar to peacocks. Peacocks are native to India, and semi-domesticated as guard animals, so it’s probably just the most similar bird he was familiar with.

Oh, this one is truly an iconic and unique animated movie. That reaction was certainly a must! By now, they have seen quite a lot of the best animated movies. Which ones are still missing? Let's see... Ratatouille - would love to see their reaction to that one, especially since Hindi culture, as far as I know, has a totally different perspective on rats than Western culture! Megamind could be interesting, too, as well as Inside Out. And I'm still very strongly hoping for Monster University :)

It is a great movie, both the story and animation. I always thought it was poorly balanced though. I mean, the first third of it hits you in the feels so hard, that even with the rest of the movie being on a more positive note, it just does not counterbalance. For me anyway, I always walk away feeling slightly sad. 🙂

There’s a line from JW4 that reminds me of Raeen, “Cowards are silent, Fools talk, a wise man listens.” Raeen always goes last. Babu sings wonderfully but Raeen always comments last. It makes him seem quite wise.

The movie i prefer them to watch 1. Indiana Jones franchise. This franchise is prettt much iconic and all of them are enjoyable. 2. Godzilla (2014) I prefer this because I want to see their reaction to the giant monster in the realistic atmosphere. And should have them watch the monsterverse. 3. Spiderman trilogy(Toby Maguire). I want to see their reaction of the young hero. 4. King Kong (2005). It would be interesting to have them watch the love story between the 8th wonder of the world, King Kong and a woman. 5. The Chocolate Factory. This movie has amazing visuals and lessons and music. You can have them watch either 1971 or 2005 version. Both version are great.
