Hevisaurus is metal for the children, in Finland. I've been twice with my (then) small daughters at a Baltic Cruise especially because Hevisaurus were having a gig there. Great times... Super collaboration song, their totally own stuff is nice, too. Also for the adults. Räyh!!!

Hevisaurus is a serious metal band for everyone who loves high quality metal music. Only the lyrics and outfits makes them also for kids. This song is is their 100th song and they are celebrating it with their friends.

In Argentina, kids are taught that metal is just awful noise in the best of cases, or even straight work of the devil (bad connotation of course) Or at least that was the case when I was a kid. You had to grow up and feel attracted to and research metal on your own to feel you love it. And there they just have metal for children!!! :) :)

Hevisaurus has made metal music for children since 2009. This was their 100th song and many Finnish metal musicians (and some from other countries) were happy to feature on the 100th song. The general idea is to make metal music with funny lyrics for kids but have it high enough quality that adults don't mind listening it.

My kids loved the music of Hevisaurus! 🦖🤘🤘 There were many fantastic musicians shredding on this video from Wintersun, Sonata Arctica, Omnium Gatherum, Insomnium, Battle Beast, etc. Try "Time" by Wintersun (live rehearsals at the Sonic Pump Studios). It is a masterpiece and many reactors who like Nightwish have enjoyed it. The drummer Kai Hahto played for Wintersun before he joined Nightwish.

There's subtitles now, you can know what he's actually saying. The "SEITAN" part cracks me up everytime, because you expect heavy metal to feature Satan instead, but they're listing ingredients used for the lunch, something otherwise unthinkable for heavy metal. Hevisaurus making heavy metal accessible for kids is glorious.
