The salamence thing was in the past, when google named all dragons as salamence and all rock types as onyx They fixed them now though

I think the main reason why they didn't put Mewtwo on the team so soon was because it was paired with Victreebell. And with the rule they couldn't have matching primary types. Jacob already had a primary grass-type with Torterra and I'm pretty sure that even for a legendary swap, they weren't going to box their starters and were going to try and keep them in the run as long as possible.

Not to mentioned its randomized, they could either end up fighting a trainer that has a weak Pokemon like Caterpie or a really strong Pokemon like Girantina or even a Pokemon that has random moves that could either be non/super effective against a Psychic type like Mewtwo.

6:00 it got fixed. All references of dragon type on google said salamence type for some reason for a while 10:55 torterra 11:46 nooo she spoke 18:30 nooo its their starter 19:40 nooo charizard is cooals

19:55 if you look at Jacob's screen, you can see that he's using a Victreebell, which probably means they DID start using that Mewtwo after the Torterra/Primeape died

The reason she's not using the legendaries she catches are because it would mean that Jacob would have to swap out his good pokemon and replace them with a crappy one so that she can replace something with a legendary. They both have to agree to the swap, which isn't gonna happen if it screws one of them over. :P

Think the reason why they didn’t switch Mewtwo in was because of the One Type rule. If Jaiden brought in MewTwo, Jacob would have to switch his Torterra for Weepinbell.

That's exactly it. No multiples of the primary types. Plus Jaiden would've also been forced to take Primeape out, cause of the Soul Link rule.

For why they wouldn't want to use legendaries, two words: level grinding. Also, I somehow *JUST* noticed an error. During that one shot where Jaiden says "it's a pretty stacked team" while showing Alpharad determinedly facing Lance's team, the pokémon surrounding Alpharad includes Dodrio, which was killed in the previous battle.

She does have a massive team working with her so maybe one of them did this part and didn’t realise who’d died by that point since whenever animations are done by teams it’s always out of order? Either way, human error

10:47 act the rule for the Nuzlocke is that if Jaiden and Jacob encounters a Pokemon and catch it, they use em as a pair. No switching it must be the Pokémon they’ve caught in the same encounter. I think that’s where the soul link comes from.

For the two grass type when boxing mewtwo, I think she have to because Jacob already have a grass type, Torterra.

One thing I don’t think you realized is that Jaiden also had to consider Jacobs team and they had to work together to make both of their teams the best they could, so although switching Mankey for Mewtwo would have been a real improvement for Jaiden switching Torterra for Victribell probably would have been a huge negative for Jacob not to mention they had an emotional attachment to their starters

Note: search "dragon type" and "rock type" and it will say Salamence and Onix they also can't get the mewtwo even if they put abomasnow in the box because of torterra.

Honestly I wouldn't have switched the for Mewtwo pair, it may help during the playthrough but what if it dies, I'd personally say it's better to have a stacked finale team than progression team

My man, having seen the original video, you really can't pause right when Jaiden introduces two Pokemon that they ran into. It's almost a wasted pause. 90% of the time, Jacob accidentally killed them xD . Edit: Also, I think Cradily is getting some massive props from the Pokemon community as a result of this. Stall-mons aren't always looked upon fondly, but they have a good place on almost every team. Good job, Dillydoo.

Got a tell ya it really pretty much dosent matter regardless if Jaiden&Jacob keep either a strong Pokemon mostly because this is a randomize nuzlocke and the trainers they end up facing would have a super effective Pokemon that could kill one of there Pokemon.

It was based on primary typing and it is possible that they mistook Abomasnow as Ice/Grass rather than Grass/Ice.
