I love that you made this video. I have been going through all the reaction videos individually . And while I would never give that up, this is a great way to enjoy ppls reaction to the bass notes by both performers at the end of this song. Thank you. :)

I do this too, just love watching the reactions of the reactors. But it's a true testament to how good Home Free is, that we don't get sick of the songs after umpteen different reactors. Talk about diving down the rabbit hole. I sit down to watch "a couple" of videos, next thing it's 4 hours later and both my phone and my earbuds are dead. Lol! 🤣

Avi can hit that G1 when he's feeling it, but from what I have seen Tim is a little more reliable down that low while Avi is stronger than Tim at the top of the bass range. It's an unreal note for a human to make. There are talented, true bass singers that will never reach it. The fact that on the day of recording this they had the possibility of an option is just nuts.

Tim and Avi have distinctly different types of voices, Avi is more melodious, while Tim is a little more aggressive. When Tim reaches the (negative numbered frequencies) ultra low notes, I call it having an EARGASM. I literally feel like I should wash my headphones after hearing it (this is by no means a bad thing).

Avi and Tim were both amazing here. I think Avi could have hit that G1 nicely, but applaud them both for not having an ego about it. Avi took much of the solo parts, after all. Also, a lot of people marvel about that remarkable G1, but few note how Avi switched hats. Seeing the material he's doing now, I really enjoy seeing his growth as an artist and in a way this seems to echo a turning point that he's made to get where he is.

@@williamspringer1172 I'm opera trained too, but that only goes so far. One thing I have learned in all my years of learning, for I have a pretty broad education, is that the more someone learns, the more they realize their own ignorance. If you stop learning, you start forgetting. The people who use their education the best are the people who never stop learning.

Yes, they fry. Yes, it's a fairly common thing. Yes, they're good at it (better with autotune, or multiple takes, or both than live, but I'm not knocking them, that is really difficult, not frying, that is easy, but pitch CONTROLLING it, very hard). Not sure why the hanging open mouth though on the first one, for a reaction vid other than maybe for effect. Go listen to Geoff Castelluci, and a few others, they do it, too. And there have been basses throughout time that go FAR lower than that, down into sub 1hz levels, believe it or not (on YT, showing how and the measurement). Some are called octavists, and they go very very low in FULL VOICE, not doing something that sounds like burping or grunting and only works on a microphone, but continuing 'south' with the singing voice into Dead Sea ranges (get it...altitude:frequency...maybe too cute, sorry). Here is an example, and this video is full of them, but listen to this last note. It strikes me more as a note you would hear from an instrument...not one from a voice...amazing: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pWnUpmeFhLaSesU All that said, good compilation...interesting to see to compare/contrast.
