I don't really like GoT all that much. But Arya's words here were brilliant. Before this scene "winter is coming" was meant as a warning that trying times lie ahead. That one must always be prepared. But this scene right here changed everything. "Winter came for House Frey." So from this moment on the motto of House Stark means "whoever you are, however powerful or wherever you hide, make no mistake, House Stark will get revenge".

I also love how Aria created a moment in their history to rival the story of the Lannisters and the song "Rains of Castamere", which is the story of the Lannisters wiping out a House because they felt disrespected. Aria wiped out the Freys because they betrayed an offer of trust and hospitality. While the Lannisters rule by fear, the Starks rule by JUSTICE. To break the trust of the Starks is to flaunt your ignorance about the coming storms of Winter. My guess is that hundreds of years after the events of the show, the phrase "The North Remembers" remains in the thoughts of anyone that even THINKS of turning against House Stark.

But i guess that is too much to process for someone that think sh*t writting and bad plots are a good ending LMAO

I tend to just focus on the good moments and ignore the shit they threw in, makes for a better story that way. If your this bitter about a TV show so many years later, Maybe you should try and move on. Arya Stark may be my favourite heroine in all of fiction. She has a strong sense of morality; of right and wrong; of dignity. She can't abide injustice and woe betide anybody who crosses her. She is impetuous but calculating. I would fill my pants if I had her as an enemy. How the hell did we get 7 seasons of bad assery, and yet somehow in a single season they manage to screw up everything on such an epic level that it still boggles the mind to this day? Granted season 7 you could certainly see the beginnings of its downfall, but it still wasn't bad. They only had to take it home one last season and conclude one of the biggest TV series in history. It's like the writers and creators had a meeting right after season 7 and Benioff and Weiss asked for suggestions what direction the series should go that would give the finale an epic send off, and leave everyone happy with long time book fans and short time series fans alike. And after all the suggestions were done, Benioff and Weiss said....."OK, great suggestions people. Really good stuff. So here's what we're going to do.......we are going to do the exact opposite of all that. Literally the exact opposite. We plan to piss off just about every loyal fan we got. And we will crush and utterly destroy this series to such an extent that it will taint everything good that had been done before it. Sound good? Alright, great meeting folks. "

Going straight from the Red Wedding reactions to the reactions for Walder's death and the extinction of House Frey is the sweetest catharsis to me. After all these years, watching people's reactions to it hasn't really lessened the pain I guess, it's sad and brutal but ultimately it's fantasy you know? But it's certainly helped I think, justice for the Starks and I actually get to see other people's reactions compared to my own. Even Joffrey didn't really hit the same to me as he was a child at the end of the day, he was demolished mentally by his family and even his literal conception so I more pity him than hate, like Frodo with Gollum. The Freys though? Nah they can all suffer and die

Even today, i remember that and i feel Nostalgic... When i started watching season 1 of GOT, even though the beginning of episodes were quite dull and uninteresting, i admit that they did it on purpose, because they wanted to make the viewers feel like it was like other normal show where the main lead always has some or the other support, and even i felt exactly like that ! The starks were seemed to look All Powerful and the Lannisters were some what made to seem weak / normal when compared to the Starks and i never had the clue of what could eventually be the consequence for Starks. GAME OF THRONES / A SONG OF ICE AND FIRE is probably the best thing ever that i watched which made me sit on edge of seat and i started to believe that NED was the main Lead, and that's the crazy thing about it. UNPREDICTABLE, UNIMAGINABLE ! And we all are so used to think that the Main Character always could get off the danger that our spine chilled to the core when NED was Beheaded. I have started to re-watch GAME OF THRONES♥💪🏻
