I have a theory. Old man loki was a hint of what loki becomes. "I was alone, for a LONG TIME" On the throne, holding the multiverse together and at some point, the multiverse came full circle to him returning and becoming the god of stories again. So old man loki and main loki are exactly the same person. Not a variant.

@neku69703 жыл бұрын
That’s what I’m thinking, hoping? I liked this guy especially being so old in his ways and choosing to change for that one moment. That last bit of glowing in his hands makes me hope as much, but the helmet being kind of scorched afterwards has me iffy, then again I’m not a mad titan so who knows. He IS a Loki so if he’s going to go out it’s gonna be flashy as we saw, but maybe it’s also a play at a little betrayal. He’s actually still alive but choosing to fool those two Loki’s one last time, show the upstarts how an old Loki does good but still keeps it Loki. Either way fantastic exit performances from Owen and Richard.

@@Ej3mofficial Nah, Classic Loki’s fake death wasn’t a nexus event cause he was still never gonna be seen ever again since he became isolated on a planet. When he decided to go back to earth, that’s when his Nexus Event was caused since he was supposed to be seen as dead and not be able to interact with anyone anymore.

Classic found a genuine glorious purpose, sacrifice for a greater good to save others, and going out on a true high, after years of hiding. In the end he changed and embraced that change , just like Loki has with Sylvie. Will Kid be given the chance to change?
@TheNativeEngine3 жыл бұрын
I think killing your brother would have to be hard on even a Loki. He doesn't show it but I figure he wants to atone for that.
@cogitatorcat23063 жыл бұрын
@@TheNativeEngine if they are going Young Avengers, Loki should be dropping Kid off with Thor in the MCU. We can only hope Croki goes with him. Loki would feel it a fine jape to drop a teenage version of himself off on his brother, making him a single dad, at the same time giving Kid a chance to redeem himself, with the brother he killed. Given the way Frost Giants age, Loki’s teenage years may last a couple of centuries. Thor finding Croki in his bath should also be a thing. And Thor screaming like a little girl at it. The group who discovered Loki all have potential for redemption, except Boastful. Wiccan should be able to communicate with Croki based upon his powers in Wandavision

Nah he's gone. The reason they went out of the way to tell that story is because it set up his character arc. By the end of the episode, Classic Loki was done just "surviving" and finally found his purpose. Sacrificing himself to save the others.

Even if he isn't he was useless the whole episode other than handing over a flaming sword which was also useless. Classic Loki pulled through and showed his power what did kid loki do other than say he killed Thor. Btw it would be kid Thor not full grown full power Thor.

Its cool how badass he is but it's sad to think hes probably the only Loki to live this long, which is why hes so powerful
@connordutton6743 жыл бұрын
I think him being old in this scene is what held him back, but it granted him much more wisdom and knowledge than any other Loki ever. He stated earlier that he never used weapons because it was a crutch and their true strength lied in sorcery. I like to put out though that it looks like he never learned enchantment and maybe conjugation as all he knows is illusions and teleportation. Tom Hiddleston Loki is Loki prime and he is the closer now than most of them especially after learning enchantment that he can do anything any other Loki can and more. Teleportation, Conjuration, Enchantment, Illusions the sky’s the limit

It only took him this long to become as powerful as classic Loki was because there were no other Lokis around to share knowledge and wisdom with YOUNGER classic Loki. So by this logic, because classic Loki shared his wisdom and knowledge with Sylvie and Loki, they can probably become as powerful or equally at their younger age.....if they never knew they had the potential, then I guess there was no reason to try....on a side note, I was wondering if Loki feels so alone in life (even though he isn't) because he is such an intelligent person, and from my experience being around a few really intelligent people, they feel very lonely....the type of "sort of" intelligent people I really can't stand are those of the narcissistic type. I know a guy who is pretty smart, but thinks he knows everything about any subject that gets discussed, however, it really pisses him off when he is told he is wrong (even a really innocent call out on facts, for me it's ok because being wrong is a very vital stepping stone to acquiring knowledge), and if you know something he doesn't and you correct him on his oblique definition of a concept or malapropism and you don't get a thank you or a request to elaborate on why he is wrong about something, he just insists that you are wrong and tries to justify it by trying to make an argument that in terms of the context in how you think s word or concept is applied, was the reason for you being wrong, but then later on if the subject comes up again he uses it in the same way you corrected him on. I e always been a really uncertain kind of person, always questioning whether or not I know enough of anything on any subject to be engaging in debate on it, even if I've studied it intensely, and I notice that that's a common theme among a lot of intelligent people, so it always seems to baffle me that for a very intelligent person, my friend seems to be very certain about everything he thinks he knows. And I really think it's because when someone corrects him or has more knowledge on a subject then he does, he just doesn't acknowledge it and wipes it from memory, but magnifies is his WINS to reinforce his narcissistic pride in himself and his intelligence. This was a very huge 90 degree segue off the marvel topic, but only because I justness got into an argument with him over the correct neuroanatomy of a structure that he was very insistent on knowing more then me. He specifically said "the part that connects the two halves of the brain" and he kept calling it the thalamus, and I was certain enough to say that it was really called the corpus callosum....after he looked it up, he changed his argument and said, "I'm right, I think you misinterpreted what I was saying because I was talking about the part that people commonly refer to as the brainwithin the brain that sits in the center of both hemispheres which IS the thalamus. Ugh he is so damn frustrating sometimes.
