I love how this show proved that there's more than one way for a hero to win against the villain, and that Mark is Invincible, not in body, but in spirit. Dude was getting beaten to death and was having innocent people die all around him. And all because of his father. Yet, Mark didn't give up, even when he couldn't move anymore. Even more impressive, he still had love for his dad.

The thing is, Mark didn’t do it in a manipulative way. He really still loves his father after everything Nolan has done and said. That’s what makes it more powerful IMO. And I think that’s why Omni-Man had to leave because he didn’t want to keep hurting his son, who despite everything, still loves him.

@@IsThisThePrizeIveWaitedFor 😏I could sense that. 😁How-ever still. He(got) his world conquering dad....to leave the planet in tears.

@@blackmagician7645 that matter little. The point is mark didnt use any tactics of the mental kind or any at all. He opened his heart to his dead even when his dad damn near ripped his out literally. Nolan despite how little he sees humans as cares about his son in a way he cannot mask

@@blackmagician7645 there is no "take that as you will" the shoq clear conveys that he was being honest with his feelings and it triggered Omnimans last sense of empathy. Its not something that needs to be overanalyzed

Thing is Viltrumites are strictly forbidden to be emotionally attached to anything And Mark just proved them wrong, this kid has a bigger heart than anyone...he almost died, but in the end Mark still sees the good in him I cried when he told him: you dad...I’d still have you

The way Omni-Man takes of tells the viewer a lot if you remember how he taught Mark how to fly. "We don't need to push ourselves from the ground or pivot around, we can move through space freely"

The Writers and the Animators did a good job of making everyone hates Omni Man and hitting everyone right in the feelings.

That line was what got me into the show. That hit me so freaking hard I felt that the writing would be top class. I wasn't disappointed. Though there were questionable bouts of how durable a character should be versus how durable we saw them to be a few times. Mark's durability especially seems to come and go for the sake of plot development.

Mark is almost indestructible against blunt force. But throughout the series he gets hit with different Kind of object. Battle beast ripped him open with a sharp and blunt object. It's kinda consistent

This is what happens when you'll be blinded by an Empire ideals since birth. Why TF does everyone act suprise when Omi Man acts the way he does he's an imperial Officer fuck look at Darth Vader cutting Luke hand for example, this is why Mark still love his dad bc he knows that Omi Man is blinded by the Empire he was born in.

I saw the season's final two days ago, and the Flash Back's scene make me crying. The smile on Nolan's face, when he understand on his son's face what is the strengh of the Humanity compared to Viltrumite, the answer of Mark when he asks him the famous question, and when he understand than his son love his own father. CRYYYYYYYYYYYYING 😭😭😭😭 Luckly, the Main Ost of X-Men Dark Phoenix, The Gap, was not set during the flashback, otherwise my room would have been flooded with tears.

Yow.....this episode tore me up inside. I still get teary eyes watching this scene. The voice overs did a great job, the creators of the comic......shit atleast, you all show the collateral damage to lives that MCU & DC, can't show. I never knew bout Invincible until watching this entire season. Now I just can't wait for season 2 to drop.
