No lie, I like how all the comic readers let all of us new fans know. "Just wait! It's gonna get worse!" And after watching the first season I'm like how?! I'm so torn on reading ahead with the comics but I really enjoyed going in blind as a new fan and just watching it all unfold. I mean I can't wait for next seasons but if they're all as well made as this first season they can take their time! I haven't been this into a superhero show since young justice.

This was definitely the hardest to watch scene for me. Showing multiple innocent civilians being torn to shreds is just messed up. Superhero media tends to never show the effects of fights and bystander deaths.

Came to the same conclusion that thank goodness Kal was found by Ma and PA Kent. They raised him to be human first before he discovered his powers I believe. Yes it was actually quite shocking to see a Villian that was actually evil. But not evil because he actually has a desire to cause harm, but just because he really sees us as ants, insignificant creatures to be crushed. This is precisely how an alien who lives as long as he lives and is as powerful as he is would likely think. I cant wait to see how they're going to stop him.

I feel so bad for Debbie and Mark. Debbie married a monster and the fact that he said that she's a pet and that her life was worthless was sad and heartbreaking. And the fact that despite all of the horrible things that Omni Man has said and done to Mark, Mark STILL loves his father and got him to stop somehow.

Considering that Viltrumites live a lot longer than humans, it makes sense. It’s wrong yes, but makes sense too. Think of animals. We love them, but they live a lot less than humans do. Experiencing lots of grief ends up desensitising us too it. Imagine how it must feel for omni man to have lost all his loved ones over and over again.

Can you please tag spoilers like these? I know the comic’s over, but it sucks to be a new fan and get hit with these out of nowhere. Edit: The “spoiler” is the later attempt to redeem Omni-man-or at least, keep him sympathetic. The way Season One concluded, his character could’ve gone either way. I imagined they’d keep him conflicted after showing how his love for Mark overpowered his loyalty to the mission, but I wasn’t sure. Now I know. And this was a reaction vid from a recent episode, not a summary of the full comic, or a theory video. I understand leaving spoilers in those. But a large part of the audience here probably hasn’t read the comic, and it’d be nice if you’d warn your comment would talk about the comic BEFORE people hear the ‘spoiler.’

I just watched this episode and just was at a loss for words and started tearing up. I know Mark is a superhero but the kid is 17yrs old and he'll have that moment forever. And apparently S2 and 3 is even bloodier, god damn 😔 (But what a show!)

Yeah because obviously the people in the train would survive that one hell of a crash in high speed and impact anyways. 😕 Yep Mark is definitely the one to blame.
