Baek Yerin is one of those artists you don't expect everyone to know but you feel sorry for anybody who doesn't know her yet. She so much has this European rainy day vibe almost, so chill. Every sad song feels more bittersweet, and the joyous songs feel like sunshine is pouring down like rain. I definitely agree that while her vocals are stunning, may not always be crazy dynamic in certain songs, but along with the lyrical content, I've always felt everything to feel appropriate. To anybody who hasn't listened to her, if you have a day where you just want to chill, please do yourself a favor and just turn on an album of hers and let it play through. So gorgeous.

I agree with the points about her voice because I think it goes with the theme of the song. Her voice fades into the background and stayed constant because she’s grounded in reality whereas the guy she’s trying to sing to is stuck in his own world so, it’s as if by the end of the song he decides to go back to that world that grows with the instruments.

You guys should realllly do a reaction to Square(2017), especially the one she sang in a green dreen during a music festival. The song was really THAT song which brought her out to the public, it was originally unreleased but it was so damn well loved that she had a to put it in her album 💚

Yerin has a powerful voice, she can get really loud and hit some really high notes. This song isn't a great example of her vocal prowess (you'd have to listen to all of her music to get a feel for that), but the reason I like Yerin is because of how unique her voice is (tender, oscillating, colorful, powerful), how she uses it, the variety of music she puts out, and her selflessness to allow the band to carry the song quite often. Even though she's a solo artist, she behaves like a band member and doesn't hog the spotlight. She definitely has some limitations, and some genres she can't do, but her vocal range has a sweet spot and in that range it's just one of the most unique vocalists today. She's amazingly covered Madonna and Beyonce songs, and her own discography is so diverse, it's just a pleasure to see her DIY career blossom. I love it and will always support!

I totally ageee Brianna and Cloud opinion, however I also feel like if she did too much, showing off her voice, it might lost the balance of this song, and overshadow the music part? This is just my own opinion, her voice is just so smoothing and fade out in the end, it just fits the song so well “How deep is our love?” , leaving a question mark and let you wonder how this song will be ended and what is her thoughts about it. Every letter I sent you is literally one of my favourite album in 2020 I have listened, the vibe, the harmony, ugh... it just remind me how much I love the people around me, and writing letter to them as well.
