I heard somewhere that Jazz bar wasn't inspired so much by actual jazz, but rather the lofi hip jop jazz style music that is quite popular on streaming sites and in cafes, it's generally these very smooth melodic tunes with quite easy to follow hip hop beats, that makes them great for background music or just music to chill to.

The intro from Black or White looks a lot like some guitar riffs from a Brazillian musical genre called Mangue Beat. This was not only a genre but a cultural movement from the 90s, which mixed eletrical guitars and some elements from rock with traditional Brazillian genres, more specifically from the Northeast region of Brazil, like Coco, Ciranda, etc. If you guys listen to the album "Da Lama ao Caos" (From Mud to Chaos) by Chico Science and Nação Zumbi, you'll see some similarities with that amazing intro from the song. Here's some links so you guys can check it out: Da Lama ao Caos Album - kzbin.info/www/bejne/qmGloKaHoZqAsLc Maracatu Atômico (One of the most famous song from the group) - kzbin.info/www/bejne/p329fomdbdGeo7c PS: My awesome Girlfriend @nathy_bep gave me the idea to show you guys this, she also loves your channel and is a huge music nerd too hasudhsaudhsah. 110% agree with your take on Jazz Bar. It's not jazz, other than the short Dami Vocal part, where the drums actually play the standard swing pattern and we got some walking bass action going on. It's more like a low fi pop version, with some jazz piano influences, which is totally fine. I also don't think it wants to be Jazz. It's just a chill song, where the title might be a bit misleading. Nevertheless it's still one of my favorite songs on the album, because it is such a nice quiet change up to the more heavy sounding rest.

Red sun and Black and White are probably one of my favourite bsides of them EVER. Including In the frozen which wasn't in this video, but that one just makes me feel very emotional, whilst Black and White and Red Sun are songs I could probably listen to in most moods~ I came to love Red sun WAY MORE when I checked out the lyrics and realized it was about revenge, it totally suits that magically vibe that reminded me of japanese album songs that have magical vibes many times and can be dark. Red sun gives me creepy strong vibes definitely hypnosis like they meant, Black and white gives me confidence, Scream makes me feel powerful and like a destroyer, all these songs just suck you in, which until now usually only anime/game songs do or like I mentioned japanese album songs with magic themes, love to see this in kpop.
