it's always so fun to be a red velvet fan, you never really know what they're going to give you next, but you know it's going to have that signature unique classiness. too often in modern kpop do companies try to make their artists' songs so different that it just ends up sounding like random samples thrown together. with red velvet, it's always unique, but incredibly polished

When I first heard this song I was so confused prolly bc I felt that the mv is a bit overwhelming. Then they dropped the performance video and I was more confused bc the straight forward visual of the perf vid made me see the song on a different light, which I didn't expect. It's like I finally understand classical and Kpop. 13:53 I just realized that this part prolly explained why I felt confused at my first listen. Like the music and the visual is clashing. But thanks to the performance vid I understood it and FMR immediately rose to my no. 1 fave song in the album

Bridge starts prolonging vi of Db (not a complete key change but the harmony/color changes a lot), and then Joy's 2nd half of the bridge goes back to Db as the tonal center, and then the final chorus goes up to Eb! :)

This is one of the best Redvelvet title songs. It's so experimental yet so pleasing. I really love how they calmly started with Bach's Air On G string and then suddenly hit us with those trap beats. This is insane. I wouldn't say that the chorus is happy. It's so overwhelming like how you are touched when springtime overwhelmed all your senses. It feels so nostalgic and joyful that you might shed some tears. I kind of found this interesting with the bridge. I thought the bridge was over with Seulgi's part but they continued with Joy. Wendy, Yeri, and Seulgi's bridge part felt like some deep, dark struggle leading onto a joyful Joy bridge. This deserved more wins but it's okay as long as there are people who appreciate Redvelvet's essence. Also, they confirmed that there is going to be a trilogy this time. Let's enjoy the future comebacks too.

Never in my life feeling a 20 minutes video was so short. When i listened to the track, i thought Bach’s sample had something to do with the chorus but my music knowledge couldnt let me to break it down. But thanks to Kevin to explain it so simple that now I can understand how the producers made it. The song was so awesome and I am thankful that many people appriciated this. I hope SM keep up with their wonderful works. Btw the reaction to the birds and how Seulgi ate the strawberry were so funny 🤣

I'm not musician, but talking about my experience for first listen it may abit distracted by the Bach's sample when I'm too used to it, even so the whole song is really good and I do like the melody. But after several listens, I'm completely love with the song and the more details I catch through the listen, the more I get amazed by the producer of the song for such genius production, and I have waited until today just to watch this reaction and analysis, and I'm happy for the knowledge gained watching the whole video.
