After the announcement of the winner, Iam sang "Don't Let Go" and all nine [correction: all ELEVEN] of the other Idol contestants jumped up on stage to join the celebration. Iam (being the playful character that he is) went from person to person, shoving the mike in front of their faces like a mad DJ to catch their voices in the joyful sing-along. There was obviously a lot of love floating around on stage. It was a chaotic, frenetic, happy scene. Fittingly, it ended with Iam and Oliver hugging each other. I thought it was the best two minutes of the show!

Best American Idol probably of all time.. People Who never watched American Idol watch the whole season. Most people tune out after Hollywood week. Well not this year...

awesome reaction, I got to thinking, that God had a plan and Iam Tongi never would have won if his father didnt pass away and God took Him to glory. That event prompted Iam to audition with 'monsters" with all of the emotion and it highlited Iam's amazing talent in guitar playing and vocals. and that audition catapulted Iam to National fame, and made him a local Hawaaian hero. Iam then gets to sing a duet with James Blunt who wrote the song and it becomes one of the most moving duets ever. Iam actually made James Blunts song exponentially more famous. Of Course Iam rides this amazing wave of events and momentum to deliver one awesome performance after another and is not the winner of American Idol. God is indeed good
