"Baiting"? there was no "baiting". No-one would send Ulf the Sot, the least experienced and least trustworthy dragonrider to solo an important mission. He just went to KL to show off his dragon to his drinking pals. In any case, Aemond turned back well before he was close enough to Dragonstone to see the dragons there.

Yes, yes there was "baiting". If he wanted to "show off" his dragon, he could've just landed outside the city walls. Why would he show up then head RIGHT back to Dragonstone? Aemond also DID see the dragons because he literally states in the next episode that she had found riders for her dragons. With an S. Indicating that yes, he did see them. The only thing that went wrong was that he realized it was a trap before getting close enough. They were gonna jump him. TL;DR - You're wrong

This was pure ignorance on her part and a collosal tactical failure. The proper course of action in baiting him up would have been to attack in force the moment he took to the sky. Now he knows first hand your advantage and can plan for it. Removing veyhgar from the board ends the war in one move. Opportunity missed, what happens next is her own fault ☹️

I don't believe for one instant that Vhagar was being "baited". Ulf the Sot just came straight from the dragon cave on Dragonstone to show off to his pals in King's Landing. I mean, why on earth would they send the least experienced and the least trustworthy dragonrider to be bait in an important mission. He'd have shat himself if he really though there was a chance he might have had yo face Vhagar.

It’s a whole string of disastrous decisions by now. The Greens only have Vhagar and Thesarion who is young and Dreamfyre who is useless since Heleana can’t fight. They lack the firepower to hold the Kingdom but Rhaenyre keeps making stupid mistakes.
