You should make a compilation of people's reactions to the scenes of Bucky getting tortured in CA: 'The Winter Soldier' and 'Civil War'...

The aggressive shield kick at the end makes the whole scene for me. 😂 Cap’s already getting sick of everybody’s clandestine BS by this point.

This scene is now a classic. The physical action and tension throughout Winter Soldier is top tier.

Winter Soldier is probably the best Marvel movie. There are other really good ones, but this one felt like a proper, competent political action-thriller, in which the main character does not feel incongruous despite technically being a superhero. Most of the other Marvel movies are really generic, by the numbers superhero movies in which the conflict feels really forced just so that there would be a movie.

“I don’t think I’m gonna trust anyone this entire movie” Winter Soldier was a masterclass at that

My favorite scene in the entire MCU. This was the moment that Steve realized everything he ever believed in was now in question.

@@penguinsfan9192 and yet like a true hero and soldier, he took it like a champ. He assessed the situation, prepped himself, gave everyone one chance to walk away…..then cleaned house

To throw romlow into the elevator ceiling requires a force of 700 foot pounds! To break the magnetic grip in the cuff 800 to 900 foot pound and it did not break his arm!

One of the best scenes in the MCU in the best non avengers movie in the MCU. Fun game: if you’re in a packed elevator say those words. See the reaction you get.

I'm just impressed that the elevator held up under the strain. I've been in elevators with that many big dudes, each carrying heavy extra gear, and that thing would be blaring alarms like they were being attacked. One even dropped a floor before the brakes caught. (That's when I damn well got off. I'm not riding that express car to the basement.)
@6LVRDRGN2 ай бұрын
No doubt! IRL the elevator manufacturer would have this as their next commercial! “Look how well our elevator held up, and you can own this model too!”

So you're saying you were in an elevator with a bunch of guys with a high protein diet 😏. Was there a green light to really bring out the seriousness of their eyes? 😏

The Now Iconic " Elevator Scene " in Winter Soldier 🪖 is Such a Turning point in this Movie 🎥! Because when Fury got Hit. They were Looking for a Hit Man. But when this Happened to CAP. It was Obvious there was an Entire Organization at Work!

You should do the scene in the control room, the shootout between the SHIELD supporters and the HYDRA supporters.

My only complaint is that the subsequent escape off the elavator and Quinjet takedown aren't included, when both are part of the scene. Otherwise, great moment.

So did cap get the whole magnet attached to the shield idea in age of ultron from this fight scene in the elevator?
@javiercamacho19982 ай бұрын
Early in the Avengers comics, Iron Man attached transistor-powered electromagnets to the shield and Cap's gloves so that Cap wouldn't have to rely on ricochet to get it back after throwing it. Cap eventually removed them because they unbalanced the shield when it was thrown, making it less reliable. They were referencing this in Age of Ultron, as well as the fact that the shield, since it is metal, has magnetic properties.
@lonknight31972 ай бұрын
Well Cap had to remove the magnets on his shield in Civil war to stop Iron man from being able to control the shield.
