"The only thing you really fight for is yourself. You're not the guy to make the sacrifice play, to lay down on a wire and let the other guy crawl over you. I think I would just cut the wire. Always a way out... You know, you may not be a threat, but you better stop pretending to be a hero"

They both came full circle in that fight. Tony said the only thing special about Cap' came out of a bottle, but Mjolnir doesn't care about serums.

That was absolutely true about Tony at the time. Thankfully, it changed.

When Thanos snapped his fingers in Infinity War, he saw little Gamora... I would have LOVED to see what Tony saw in his last moments... :(

They actually filmed a scene where tony sees a grown up version of Morgan. They cut the scene due to the movie already being 3 hours long

@@hermitkrab6448 No. they cut it bc in tests groups nobody could relate to the grief of a grown up Morgan Stark bc they never met her and were very confused about who she was and why they should care. If you’re going to post, post the right thing. You really think people would’ve cared about a 3 hour movie lasting 2-4 minutes longer. That answer is also NO

I would've love that scene, despite how much it would've crushed me even more.

We were all following a story, of a bunch of misfits, nobodies and super powered beings that came together to become Earth's Mightiest heroes, The Avengers. When Tony died after giving his all, it hit, so, damn, hard and still does, honestly, I doubt that will ever change either. What we got to share was a decade long story, culminating in a sad ending with hope on the horizon for a better tomorrow, one that Tony died to give to everyone, along with a message to all the other planets out there, that the Avengers are there, ready to defend their home to the end.

So few people got the significance of the finger pointing up by Strange. It wasn't "This is the one." Tony had made the same gesture at another time when talking about when he took the nuke through the wormhole. Strange was telling Tony that what he was about to do was a one way journey, no coming back.

When I watched this moment for the first time, I screamed as loud as I could when Tony wielded the Infinity Stones but quietly sobbed when he died afterwards.

A lot of people came in very late to the MCU. They probably weren't interested before but got into them for KZbin. My mum didn't care until we binged them all up to Endgame on Blu-ray during COVID lockdown.

I still don't understand why Doctor Strange could use the time stone to take an apple from rotten back to ripe again and Thanos used it to bring back Vision.. yet they couldn't use it to bring back Tony?
