So I don't know if you already know about this but there's a bookstore I love in London called Foyles. It has a couple smaller stores around the city, but the crowning glory is a five story book store on charing cross road. It's a ton of fun and has an amazing selection of books (especially beautiful UK editions). You should definitely check it out sometime!

if you have a chance while you're in England, try popping into the works! they tend to sell box sets of books super cheap! I managed to get the entire 4 maze runner books for £10, so it's definitely worth checking out! hope you enjoy England!

Gillian Flynn's novels are so good! I personally loved all three of her books and Dark Places has such a good ending, hope you enjoy!

You'll love Carrie!! I thought it was a really good Stephen King book to start with because it's relatively short and the protagonist is a teenage girl. Be sure to go to Waterstones Piccadilly when you go to London! It's Europe's largest bookstore and it's just so so great.

So cool that you will be talking to us next time from ENGLAND!! Btw you should check out Finding Audrey by Sophie Kinsella, her first YA book and was amazing. I laughed and almost cried. It takes a lot for a book to do both. It's about a girl who has social anxiety and how she copes with it and meets a boy who helps her too. Might be a good light read you can get over there :) Have fun in England!!

Good luck in London and you're going to love anything made by Stephen King. After you read Carrie you have to watch the movie and I believe they just remade the movie last year or earlier this year.

I'm currently reading Forbidden and it's awesome!! :D The whole point is that the story makes you root for their love even though you know they are brother and sister and it's FORBIDDEN just like you said :) Really interesting, definitely. I'm dying to read PS: I still love you but I read the first one in Spanish and I'm waiting to read the second one in Spanish as well :) I CAN'T WAIT ANYMORE! hahaha Hope you have a great time there in London! I'm from Spain and I plan on studying there as well while I study my degree, but not this year haha :)

Heya Zoe! Just in case your wondering where to buy books from over here in the UK in London there is a massive bookstore called foyles but most towns/cities have a Waterstones or WHSmith which is kind of like the equivalent to your Barnes and Nobles💜 :)

There's also a reaaaaally awesome bookstore called Hatchards. It's (I think, don't quote me) the oldest bookstore in the United Kingdom

Hope you enjoy UK! I was in London a couple months ago and I absolutely loved that city (especially the Harry Potter studio ;) ) and you can be sure you'll find a lot of amazing bookstores there. Btw, I love Indigo Spell and Maybe Someday is just amazing, as well as any other Colleen Hoover bookm is so well written, funny and also makes you think about a lot of things hope you like it :)

I really want to get in to reading more of Stephen King's work... I've read two of his books but they were somewhat recent and I hear a lot of good things about his earlier works. Perhaps I'll pick something up around October time, the horror fitting in with Halloween. Ooo... I recently purchased Forbidden. I'm really intrigued to see how the topic at hand is written and portrayed - I hear it's done well. It sounds like you really put some thought in to the books you've taken abroad with you. Good move on the paperbacks, but like you I prefer reading those anyway!

You're like one of the few book tubers these days that mention Stephen King. Carrie is amazing and I love Stephen King because I"m a huge horror buff. The movie is awesome but I recommend watching it after you read it. I also recommend Deep Dark and Dangerous by Mary Downing Hahn. She's an amazing horror author that doesn't scare you too much but there is enough to be spine-chilling. Have a great time abroad and I'll always be avidly following ur vids

Since you said you want to read more adult/horror/dark books, you should definitely read Serena by Ron Rash; it's absolutely insane. It's about this girl that goes with her husband to North Carolina to work in the lumber business and there's tons of drama. It's not difficult to read either; you'll be able to fly through it!

You should check out the Camden Market and look for the book area (its underground if I remember correctly) They have a lot of books for only a few pounds and i was lucky and found a William Faulkner book that was published in 1950's which was such a jem

It comes out when you're over here in England on September 1st, but our editions are different to yours, and we don't have them in hardbacks, does that matter to your and your collection? Or will you just buy the UK edition?

Good question! I'll probably get the UK edition! I'm not picky about keeping my editions the same or having perfect copies, as long as I can read the words on the page! Also, it'll remind me of my time here :D If it really does annoy me, I might get a hardcover US edition when I return.

Especially with books you already own? I know you mentioned you might buy some of the Harry Potters in the new beautiful editions, but it's such a shame you can't get the original covers anymore! No matter which editions I see in the shops I always have a soft spot for the original editions!
