Thank you for the question Marty. I would recommend the free option of going to netacad.com, signing up for a free account there, and then downloading and using Cisco's packet tracer. It will have all the hands on you need for CCNA, for free.

please for the love of god, dont talk down to your viewers like we are 5year olds. Really pisses me off. If people dont know this things before watching a video they should aquire that knowledge. This isnt cbt nugggets.its your own channel Keith. And dont do this while doing OSPF.These videos should be for network people that are interested in the field and need an introduction so they know where to begin. Not networking for kindergarden. You should mention parent route/child route when explaining aswell. To know how to read and interpret a routing table you really should know the basics of IP and subnet masks and parent,child route,ultimate routes and the metrics of a route in the routing table before making this video. So I hope this is explained later on your playlist for those who arent familiar with the subjects you are saying in your video and some of the ones I wrote down.

Hey Anders, if you don't like the video then don't watch. The video is awesome as everything Keith does is. Its your waste of time and space in the comments section that really pisses me off. Keith never talks down to viewers, but if you think he does then bug off. Great video as always Keith! Learned some new stuff as always.
@andersgjerlw96365 жыл бұрын
@@TTK-kc1sd I watch them in case I learn something that I dont know. I get that some people dont have the knowledge about things like this and the trainers need to be able to cater to beginners and those in between.It feels like the explainiations is in really simple laymon termes,but people should know basic things like IP,the metrics, like AD,timestamp,outgoing interface etc,parent route/child route.When this knowledge is at the watcher the interpreting of the routing tables becomes much easier than just comparing to a highway road. my message isnt for you,its towards Keith and improvements/shift towards how to speak to the viewers.
@TTK-kc1sd5 жыл бұрын
@@andersgjerlw9636 Keith doesn't speak down to others, you do. He explains things you already know. Too bad. Others don't and it is a good introduction that allows them to know about new things to educate themselves. If you want more advanced videos then join CBT or INE. Keith has been doing this for a long time and doesn't need your bitching/advice. These videos are gold. Bitch if you're paying for it, otherwise get lost.
