Thank you for providing excellent advice on resetting the error codes. Perhaps you should mention that you only do this when the fault identified by the code has been rectified. In my case it was an E10 where glass had fouled the impeller on the pump. I also found that the drain pipe connected to the sink outlet had a blockage that I cleared by removing the rubber non return valve in the pipe, disconnecting the discharge end from the sink and blowing down the disconnected pipe.Debris then blew out. Thanks again for an excellent video.

This is a great video, thanks so much! Can I ask if you know all the error codes? We have the clock/top light flashing four times in a row and then the rinse aid/bottom light flashing four times in a row. Can’t find anywhere what this means!

Not sure how u would change the program settings. Salt depends on how hard or soft the water is and some of the tablets have it built in

Thank you so much. Your tutorial helped me to find fault and fix it. In my case the timer led was glowing twice, what means fault code E20 - drain problem. Using this knowledge I found a piece of glass in a drain camera, which blocked a drain motor. By the word the drain motor easy to remove, just turn CCW a little bit. Thank again

So after all these comments, no mention of any meaning to fault codes? My aeg fsk31600z is not heating, with what I have seen from other models, the problem lies within the controller, pcb tracking or relay over heating, planning to check this the weekend and hopefully an upgraded amperage relay and bridging the pcb tracks will sort it.

Hi there I have this same dishwasher given to me all works fine etc had it a while great bit of kit only issue i have is I'm unsure about salt levels when and how much it needs. I know if it's leaving white marks you need some but if had mine over a year and not topped up surly this is not right any advice would be greatfull please thanks:-)

How much u put in depends on how hard or soft your water is some of the dishwasher tablets also have it built in

That is a fill error could be as simple as a blocked filter in the fill unit or water switched off anything else would need to see the machine to fault find it

Actually not sure what error it is. When pressing the eco button after it flashes no other lights come on After pressing the eco button 3 times the timer lighy flashes 4 times Everytime u press the eco butto after that the timer light flashes an extra flash

This will cancel the error code but it will come back if u do not fix the error

A great step forward, in terms of revealing this apparently hidden and hard to hear anything about 'diagnostic' mode ... but has anyone got a table of what codes. other than this blink and you miss it e10, there are? Surely, too, if e10 = no water, no amount of pushing buttons is going to turn a tap on / unblock a filter / fix a broken pump ...? In my case the dishwasher isn't heating the water nor drying. I've put a new heater in, and thermostat, but no joy. Then I stumbled upon this world of fault codes, hinted at by your unique and valuable video. But as I say, has anyone any ideas on what other error codes might exist and how to read them from the lights??

@@2108cricket1 No sadly not. Ended up paying a lot for a Bosch one instead. Overall we're pleased, and its certainly quieter and with fewer sharp metal edges to cut fingers whilst installing but it regularly leaves dirt on things especially cutlery (it's got one of those silly top level drawers that never get enough water) whereas the supposedly inferior AEG seldom if ever had a problem with the more conventional cutlery basket. I concluded our fault was something to do with the main circuit board and after changing/ testing everything right back to the two relays on the board I gave up to avoid throwing good money after bad.
