I actually had Sweet Bean Paste in my Shelterbox Book Club Box a couple of years ago. Definitely recommend. Very wholesome!

When I read A Man called Ove, it really reminded me of my grandpa. He passed away this year, so I will not reread it any time soon. It would probably break me into way too many pieces. Happy you enjoyed it.

Love A Man Called Ove (movie is great too) and Remarkably bright creatures. Also read The collected regrets of clover recently and loved that too

I had a similar crisis this summer and I read "Human kind - A Hopeful History" by Rudger Bregman. It's a non fiction book about how people are not born evil or bad. That's the describtion in just one sentence. For me it did a lot and after I read it, I was more hopeful that there are still good people. :)

This may be a little out there but I’m currently reading a non fiction book ‘All The Living and the Dead’ by Hayley Campbell. It’s about the people who deal with death. From the funeral home, embalmers, people who prepare bodies donated to science and more. It’s a challenging read and sometimes graphic but I’m suggesting it because the overwhelming message is how respectful people are, and how that makes us human and special. Not for everyone but maybe worth a look.

Such a cosy video! One of my favourite things is to read in a coffee shop 📖

I think I need to do this too! Life is just feeling very heavy lately and I think some good heartwarming books might just be the ticket.

The same happened to me when I read How To Stop Time by Matt Haig 😏 I liked it, but not as much as I expected😊 Now, I have the cope of Humans by him, but I’m not sure I’m ready to read it 😅 A Man Called Ove is one of my favorites by Fredrik Backman😊 What You Are Looking For Is in the Library is in my endless tbr📖☺️ Probably, you’ll also enjoy The Cat Who Saved Books by Sosuke Natsukawa 🐱 I read it a couple of years ago and truly enjoyed it🐾📖☺️ Thank you for such a rainy bookish cozy vlog ☔️📖😊
