Loved how different all the books you read in this video were!! I’m glad to see you ended up liking a lesson in thorns! I totally get what you mean about wanting more from the plot. Sierra just has a way of writing that draws me in so much

Finally!!! Someone that has a similar opinion about Silent Patient. Seriously was not impressed. I read it because of Gabby, then saw Kayla's reaction. You explained my feelings so well. Thank you!

Loved this video! Some of my favorite kind of booktube videos are when people step out of their comfort zone and try new things because it encourages me to do the same and most books actually surprise me in a good way! Well done! 🥰

Fun video! Experimental videos are one of my favorite Booktube videos to watch. Three of those books I've been wanting to read. At least I'll know what I'm getting into once I actually do. I struggle with slow paced and confusing books.

You mentioned Overdrive not showing the exact amount of time in the audiobook. I stopped using it and use Libby now because it shows the exact time like audible does.

I use my library a lot. I have put holds on books several times and for the most part I have gotten them within a reasonable amount of time. I've currently been waiting on a book for 2-3 weeks now and it has just now made it to my library. I'm going to go pick it up tomorrow or most likely have my husband go get it. I love seeing people reading out of their comfort zones. Several of the books you mentioned I hope to read at some point.

I love this so much! I felt very similarly about The Silent Patient. I started getting a little bored throughout, but the twist did blow my mind. However, I never read thrillers, so that could have something to do with it.

I loved The Silent Patient but I can see why it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea. Maybe I loved it so much because I at the time I read it, really haven't read many mystery, thrillers, of that nature. I definitely am going to be rereading some of my favorite books from last year. So I will probably reread the Silent Patient and see if I feel the same way. I have but haven't read Mindgames yet, and I am not sure how I feel about reading it anymore. I tried reading the raven boys and couldn't get into it and took it back to the library, before even finished it. Great tbr!!!!

For a thriller I recommend Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney. Its from 2017 but if you want a thriller that has numerous twists, this is a good one

I honestly don't know if it means anything else or if "Dig" is just the name of the book, but when you translate it to danish "Dig" means "You"

Love this kind of videos! ❤ I'm sorry you didn't like the Raven Boys. I think the books kept getting better in the series and I loved the ending. I think in book one, you don't even get to really know about the Dreamers. If you ever have chance, give the second book a chance, it focuses on Ronan. And the series has the cutest MM romance I was not expecting in the beginning! At the moment am reading Call Down The Hawk, because I loved Ronan so much I just could not not pick it up. Sending good vibes from Latvia. Have a great day!

You picked up all long books. Way to get out of your comfort zone. I just ordered Middlegame, I'm jumping into the unknown. Love and other words is the only Christina Lauren I gave 5 stars outside the beautiful bastards series. And silent patient 3.5 round up although I'm planning to re read it this year. I might give it less than that. Still can't believe it won thriller category...🙄

Monica Merle I think The Silent Patient one because it was the most read book on the list. I read better thrillers last year! And Love and Other Words was such a nice surprise!
