I would probably go insane if I read for 24 hours straight! If I did, I would need everything to be in the same series or world so I wouldn't have to go through learning about multiple universes and plot lines.

Annie's Book World it's one of my favorites. Apparently it's based off a main series, but I haven't gotten around to it

I looked and I don't think you need to read the first series. I think there are characters in the other series that appear in the Kanin chronicles, but they're not important. If I see the books somewhere, I'll pick them up. They sound good.

I've been watching the British baking show too!! I did a 24 hour read-a-thon yesterday and was so tempted to take a break to watch it too, but then didn't. Somehow I got through 4 full books. The last time I did one last month I got through 5.

Great British bake off was the best tv show out there. Definitely won't be the same with all the changes this year. Doing your own readathon is a really good idea since I always miss them. This was a fun vlog!

I still fall asleep with all of my lights on! It's a bad habit but I did love waking up as a kid and seeing my dad had turned everything off for me. I felt so safe and lovely. I want to do a readathon at some point! The dates never work for me so I might have to do this by myself as well..

We love Bake Off in the UK as well. Its intereting you note how polite it is as I once read an interview with Sue and Mel where they admitted that if something was going wrong or someone getting upset they would do something on camera that meant the footage couldn't be used to make the show as nice as it is. Love the idea of a 24 hour rading session. I may have to try this when I am on annual leave in a weeks time.

I don't think I could ever do a 24 hour challenge. My mom is one of those ladies that, when she goes to sleep, she wants everyone to go to sleep as well. And she is a super light sleeper that wakes up scared if I flush the toilet, then will proceed to yell at me it's too late and so on. So... :/ I think I'm gonna stick with Ariel's booktube a thon.

I sometimes get snoozy when reading, so if I attempted this, I would read for 16 hours and sleep for the other 8. Also, quick question, have you read The Diabolic by S.J. Kincaid. It's really great! Edit: I'm pretty sure I would die if I did this, because I don't like strong coffee. Edit 2: That pasta looks so delicious.
