I'm not a psychoanalyst but I think it's some kind of repressed or sublimated desire. It has to be repressed or sublimated further by creating a substitute Allison. I won't spell it out: psych 101. (But I'm definitely not suggesting she secretly wants to kill Allison, if anyone was thinking I'm mad and not just stupidly pretentious.)

Oh man! Thumbs up for Gaby's fan fiction! That was awesome. Yes!.... *that's* what we want! Write more. Please!!! If you don't The Patriarchy wins. There aren't enough female writers. And the great ones, like Mary Shelley are ignored because she was around when women were literally the property of their husbands. She wrote more than just "Frankenstein." And Hollywood turned her incredibly dramatic novel into just a successful monster movie. Her book is so much better. Hell, she invented the Post-Apocalypse genre of books! Literally!! It's called "The Last Man." Okay, the title gives it away to a large extent. But no denying her book was first. She gets crap levels of respect except for "Frankenstein."
