please don't shave your puppies ( I'm a groomer) ... I alot of people think that by shaving them it will help them not be hot. it actually does the opposite. their hair is made to keep them warm in the winter and cool in the summer. the shiny top coat reflects the sun off of their bodies which helps regulate their temperature if you shave them then the sun can go right to their skin and give them a sunburn. also dogs do not sweat like us so they cannot regulate their body temperature the way that we can by sweating so it poses a greater risk of heat stroke. just a good bath and brush is all they need.
