Hey Hazel, I got this book a few days ago and started it this morning. On hearing reviews and reading the blurb I decided I desperately wanted to read it, despite not having completed, or even really started, a book for probably four or five years. I'm 19 but I really resonate with the narrative based on a past relationship, and I just wanted to thank you for this. I was one page in when I remembered that you'd made a video reading an excerpt from your book, and was excited to realise you'd read the whole first chapter over these videos. So, I sat, played the videos, and read with you. One chapter in I'm already in love, and I've cried at least twice, most notably on those last pages after you ended the video. In honesty I wish you could read the whole book because there was something so relaxing about reading it with you that brought it to life in a way that I've not experienced since our teacher used to read to us on rainy Friday afternoons in primary school. I'm sorry for this long comment but I just wanted to convey my appreciation for you and the story that you've decided to tell. Thank you, with love ❤️

I am so excited for this book. It's not coming out until August in my country (just tried on amazon to see when they would be able to get it to me, turns out, another two months. But I am so ready to have my heart ripped apart in all the right ways. My partner and I broke up about a year ago now, and hearing the protaganist go through these emotions really throws me back a bit. But it's almost comforting to go back to those feelings because I know I'm on the other end and I know I got through it.
