i have watched a lot of these college essay videos but this is genuinely one of my favorites. it’s straightforward and powerful, with nothing cliche or cheesy about it. It’s intriguing and grounded and the visualizations are pretty great as well, like “hoops” turning into “lenses” and the night sky turning from a “dark abyss” into something of endless possibilities. It beautifully conveys ur changing of perspective in life and how you have used that to learn and interact with the world. good job! :)

In my personal opinion, it helps to think more about yourself internally and reflect upon what really matters to you. Write about that thing :)

"Depressed" is a really heavy word. I was not clinically depressed, but it was a really hard time in my life, and I wanted to convey without just saying "I'm sad."
