The Harvard GSD program now requires a program statement and the prompt is asking more about your future rather than your history. I can find any references for how people are outlining their project statement. They require a smaller essay that is similar to a portion of a personal statement and there is also another section that is a portion of a statement of purpose. There is another writing section where you must type why you are choosing your major.

Please help!!!! I want so badly to get into these schools, but my paper doesn't flow and it is taking me out. I can tell that my paper is not smooth. It''s in fact very choppy, and I am having a hard time trying to figure out my story line and how to bridge the gap between my personal life experiences, and my academic desires. Beautiful! But you did a video on this and it's a personal statement. I think a personal statement is different from a statement of purpose.
