Reading & Northern 2102 Nearly Stalls at East Mahanoy Junction!

With fallen leaves and wet rails, Reading & Northern 2102 had difficulty holding the rail on her northbound trip to Jim Thorpe with the railroad's Autumn Colors Excursion. Approaching East Mahanoy Junction on the over 1% grade the speed dropped to a walking pace as engineer Shane Fredrickson fought the slick conditions. With the booster cut in they started to gain speed again and crested the grade at Haucks at a better pace. Enjoy!
