Personally, I don’t agree with giving a star rating if you DNF the book. I totally agree with not finishing a book that you aren’t enjoying, but if you do that, you shouldn’t rate it because you didn’t finish the story and a lot can happen in the part you left unread. Especially if you DNF before 50%. I think maybe there should be an option of DNF, so you don’t give it a rating that will effect the star level, but can still share your opinion/experience. StoryGraph allows you to do this, and I really appreciate it. Thanks for another great video. I was rolling my eyes at the people who kept complaining about the slow progression of some of those. They definitely need to stay away from slow-burn romances, lol. I have to be in the right mood for a slow burn, but that’s not the fault of the book. On a side note, I am reading my first Mariana Zapata book, From Lukov with Love. I’m only at 20%, but really liking it so far. I loved the movie ‘The Cutting Edge’ and this seems to have the same vibes, from what I’ve heard, so thought it’d be a good one to start with to try her books out to see if her type of slow burn is for me.
