Thank you for sharing your experience. This is 100% relatable and even as an adult I still experience this anxiety. I love your energy and forwardness in wanting to share.

The whole class has to read out in order (like 2 long pages) and THE PANIC I always get, I always stutter and everyone in class read perfectly fine. I hate it so much I always wanted just to run away, I now just read aloud the book at home so I know what to read (I sometimes even go on Google to see how to pronounce words I don't know) but never really helps

Reading in class didn't bother me too much yeah I hated tripping on the words and trying to pronounce words I've never seen before but usually I read ahead so when it was my turn I would be a little more prepared.

I wish I had used skills like that

We had read out louds but it was the entire class not individually. Not really sure how it feels.

we hardly ever did reading out loud with the whole class! I'm jealous lol that seems so much nicer than the individual targeted hell of solo out loud reading

It started for me half way through year 7 out of knowhwere. Year 8 and 9 was the worst for me bc I never told anyone about it and whenever I had to read even just for a few seconds my heart starts to beat fast and my voice was shaky. I still have it (in year 10) but its reduced a lot but I still feel a tiny bit nervous so thanks for this!
