Thomas I’ve been new to trading and your videos been SUPER helpful I can’t seem to buy a win this month , I started trading two months ago and market was booming price action seemed beautiful, I am now getting wins these days followed by trades I think are good and end up not working. I decided to stop trading for the rest of the month. Hopefully after new year volatility picks up again and I can get back on track, these loosing days aren’t fun but keeping my head high and sticking to my trading plan

Decent week, netted 7 points on mes. Its really frustrating trading timeframes higher than 2000 tick such as 5 or 15 min because there is about 1 setup a day and if you miss it, you have to sit on the sidelines all day. I could go back to trading 2000 tick but my personality is not a good match for that chart, I might try trading a few more instruments like mcl and mgc.

Well, its mainly because we traded down quite strongly. The main downtrend. So because there was a bearish trend prior, its safer to wait for F2ES. If the structure was only range the entire day, HL makes more sense.

There is no break down (pullback) after 1EL so you can not talk about a 2EL. After 1EL, there should be always a break down first before 2EL

I don't get why it is a 1ES when it didn't break below the low of the previous bar. (on the FBO)

You can make a difference between 1es trigger and 1es no trigger. This was a 1es no trigger.

If you go to my community tab on youtube, scroll down to post posted year ago that starts with "What is the Second Entry? For 2nd Entry to trigger, traders are interested to see the break above/below the SIGNAL BAR that indicates possible 2nd Entry." In this post I explain why signal bar doesn't have to break below previous bar. You just want a break below the signal bar itself.
